Dwell 912

What everyone else before me said. This is a true gem and I wish I could find this in every city I visit. Blocks from everything yet super quiet — sitting in the courtyard late evening felt like I was in the country. Safe, free parking directly in front. Super clean and comfortable, inside and out. Awesome historical charm with modern, well-​done updates. Attentive owners and friendly chickens. Seriously stay here — just make sure you can handle the tight/​steep staircase (which I loved).

My friend and I were looking for a place to stay for a conference in St. Louis, and I am thrilled we were able to stay at dwell 912. The reviews on Unilocal and airbnb were uniformly positive, so I was not surprised to find that Jen was both professional and just plain nice. I stayed in the 3^rd floor loft in her historic (gorgeous!!) house, and my friend stayed in the apartment right next to (actually connected to) the main house. I’m still not sure which I like more — both are beautifully set up, very comfortable. «
And there’s a really fun microbrewery/​restaurant just around the block, too. I’m actually considering holding our next family reunion in St. Louis just so we can stay w/​Jen again!

Jenn runs a great inn. Fantastic hospitality and a great location. I would stay here again. No matter what you are looking to do, I’m sure Jenn would have a great recommendation nearby its like coming home after a long day out & the breakfast is very good.

Jenn’s loft is fantastic. She’s just as warm and charming as the space. The décor is spot on and the bed is really comfortable. She also has adorable chickens that will hang out with you in the backyard. Can’t recommend it enough.

I found Dwell 912 on the Internet and immediately loved the site’s inviting content and photos. I emailed Jenn that my husband and I requested a two-​night stay in June and she responded quickly with not only an email, but a phone call. She also confirmed our arrival time the day of, which doesn’t always happen. Located in the heart of St. Louis, Dwell 912 has the best access for everything you want to do. We loved the sleek artwork, cool gardens (with chicken coop!), whimsical cacti and outdoor furniture, not to mention the authentic period spiral staircase. Jenn also provided two days’ worth of breakfast in our kitchen so we could eat when we wanted to – it was of course, yummy and nutritious. Next time we’re in St. Louis, we’ll stay at Dwell 912 with Jenn and her chickens!

Amazing and beautiful! My wife and I stopped off here on our road trip from SF to NYC. We were so sick of crappy mid western hotels and wanted something bed and breakfast-​like. We searched online and found Dwell 912. It’s basically a 2 story apartment attached to a mid 1800’s restored home with a beautifully landscaped property. We felt at home. There was a balcony to chill on upstairs, the breakfast was super yummy and everything about the experience was really amazing. It’s reasonably priced too!
