DOS Resale Boutique

Just ok for me. This is my second time coming in. My previous trip was many moons ago when the store was located on Forsyth. The store is super tiny so there isn’t much inventory. The clothing is a little overpriced. I feel like I can get better deals at platos.

What a great shopping experience! We got lots of excellent fashion tips from the owner who clued us in on what to look for in upcoming trends. Just ask questions, she’s very generous with her knowledge! She also took time to make sure the fit was «on point». She really knows her inventory and helped us find the items that fit: size wise, fashion wise and price wise. It was our first visit and I would gladly go again.
DOS has on trend items to appeal to a wide range of tastes and ages: clothes, shoes, bags, accessories and jewelry.

I have bought and sold many times. Purses, belts, dresses, skirts, blouses, tees, and jeans that store carries the latest fashions. Tina, the owner, is great. She has the great fashion sense and gives lots of $$$ when purchases. Time to clean out my closets with a big sale and pick up new items while I am there.

I shopped here a few months prior to this experience and I like the selection of clothing. When first entering the store I was not greeted because the owner was on her phone. She later greeted me. The clothes were cheap for the most part. Hollister jeans are $ 20. I spoke to the owner and told her I was looking to sell some shoes. I told her I wore a 5.5 and she said that she didn’t sel that size but would be happy to look at my shoes and if she found something she liked then would make me an offer.
I believed her.
I came in Friday with a bag of shoes and as soon as I walked in, she was on her phone and just paused and stared at my bag with a dissatisfied look on her face. She told the person on the phone to hold on for a moment and I told her I was looking to sell some shoes. She told me to put the bag down and she would be with me in a second. That second literally turned into 6 minutes of her gabbing on the phone while I waited on her to assist me. I say gabbing because this was not a business related call. Whoever she was on the phone with, she kept calling them baby and telling them to get out of bed and talking about men. She finally got off the phone did not apologize for the delay and said she had 4 orders in front of me and I would need to leave them there and she would call me when she looked through them. Then she asked what size I wore and I told her a 5.5 and she immediately said she did not accept that size and and rushed me out the door and said that that saved both of us time.
She was very rude and she has a problem with being on her cell phone. Don’t take personal calls at work when you have 4 orders to look through that people dropped off. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

They had a very good selection! Great prices! There are not a lot of resale stores in St. Louis so it’s nice to know that this one had cute items at fair prices. I got two sweaters that were about $ 8 each. Their brands ranged from Hollister to H & M to Zara. The owner was super nice and helpful. Their Facebook page also stays very updated with pictures of their recent items. Street parking was easy to find. Meters are free on weekends and holidays

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dos! AND… I LOVE the owner, Tina. She is sweet, personable, «remembers you» AND what you like, AND she has great style. When you try something on– she will be honest with you about what it looks like or if it doesn’t fit well. :-) To me… that’s huge, and says a lot about who she is. The new location is AWESOME. you will feel like you are in a little boutique in NYC. Super cool lighting, huge dressing rooms, double racks for hanging clothes, and TONS of it! I love how everything is so organized– she organizes the clothes by SIZE, NAME BRANDS, and even COLOR! So you can go in… and there will be a rack that will say «Juicy» if you are looking for Juicy. Or if you are looking for designer jeans, they are on a separate rack than the «regular» jeans. It makes shopping easy and fun, and much much quicker than digging through racks at Goodwill! Please note, too– the quality is WAAAAAAYYYY better than Goodwill– the two can’t really be compared– they are apples and oranges. Sure, you might get lucky one day and find a great find or two at GW after digging for a while, but Tina won’t just accept ANY clothing– she takes what is cute, current, trendy AND unique. I am a fitness professional and she also sells workout clothing– NICE workout clothing. Nike, under armour, tennis outfits, Brooks, lululemon, etc… Now… where else can you get an under armour shirt for $ 6? Or lululemon shorts for $ 14? or how bout Miss Me jeans that normally run $ 125++ that I’ve gotten there for $ 25. WHAT A DEAL!!! She had a brand new Lily Pulitzer dress in there that I would have bought had it fit me– and it was only $ 20. I googled it and the same one in the store was over $ 200. Dos also carries great shoes, purses, sunglasses, accessories, and jewelry. Did I mention how many designer purses like Coach and Luis vuitton she gets? I think Tina prices much more fairly than some other high end consignment shops I have been to. Another bonus is that if you like her on facebook, you get an additional 10% off your entire purchase. a YAY for me!!! One more thing… the turn around is incredible. I have had to start going there almost once a week because she sells stuff so fast and is ALWAYS getting new stuff in. She has a «new rack» as well. I can just about promise you– if you wanna dress super cute for cheap– you just may become addicted to this place, AND to Tina. See ya soon Dos, and Tina! :0)

Great shop for finding some awesome deals! So much stuff to choose from and Tina is just phenomenal at helping you find just the right thing! She knows her fashion!
