I’ve never had any complaints when it comes to this specific Domino’s Pizza store.

I am shocked as you, that I am writing a review for Domino’s. What shocked me even more, was the fact that I ordered from Domino’s. It was a Friday night, both adults in the household has rough days at work and no energy to go out or to cook at home. So it was Domino’s to the rescue with their $ 5.99 Carryout Special. Their special was a large two topping pizza for only $ 5.99. To get this deal all you had to do was order on-line and go pick it up yourself. What a deal. They also offered me a two liter Coke for $ 2.99 and gave me an opportunity to add $ 1 to my order for the St. Jude Foundation. Pizza, soda and a charitable donation all for $ 10. What a deal. Our pizza was a Pepperoni and Italian Sausage. It was covered in plenty of toppings, the sauce was spicy. Making it tasty cheap dinner. When I arrived, I was surprised how small the space was and how efficient the team of 8 worked. The kitchen and shop was clean and they all were working at a rapid speed. They were friendly to customers as they entered and the young man answering the phone, actually had phone etiquette and skills. It’s not Bono’s or Pizza a GO-GO, but when they have a special like this, I’ll order from a chain.

In just about every way, this seems like an average Domino’s, though with their reinvented pies, this isn’t the insult that saying that once was… Ordering via the Android app worked fine here and being able to watch the Pizza Tracker at work was interesting. It’s a nice tool for gauging when to arrive to catch a carryout order at its freshest, even if that does seem gimmicky(…making life easier in ways that you never imagined necessary? Exactly!). A tracking screen with customer names at the front of the store is also handy for keeping informed about when your order should be up.(A lot can happen in the 9 – 14 minute window promised when I placed a recent late-night order…) From the same app(or via Dominos’ website), you can order, pay and track, though if you plan on paying with a gift card over the internet, you can’t place an order ahead of time.(You can, however, mark«Cash» on online orders and hand over your gift card instead when you arrive for the pickup. It’ll take a bit of keying on the part of the restaurant, but the transaction is doable). Note: 1) This storefront shop has little seating, even for a carryout/delivery place. 2) Sometimes, Domino’s runs really good coupons. Sometimes, you don’t even have to leave the Domino’s website or app to find out about these deals. It might be worth checking RetailMeNot or similar sites first though.(If you’re going to get chain pizza, you might’s well take advantage of chain pizza marketing deals…).

Ordered a pizza through their online delivery system — which I happen to love because it shows you where your pizza is at the different stages of creation, baking, packaging, and delivery. It helps when you’re starving & antsy. I also like their online range of coupons, though a little more diverse selection including their sandwiches and pasta would’ve been nice. Delivery, btw, was FAST. I had my pizza in less than 30 minutes. That being said, I ordered 2 large pizzas & wings. The wings weren’t very meaty and Dominos charges an extra 59 cents for an extra miniscule tub of dressing. The pizzas were skimpy on the toppings, especially the cheese. The pizza sauce was the only real thing of substance, as it had real chunks of tomato in it. All-in-all, I’ll probably head to one of the local joints or, if I want a chain, hit Papa Johns(they add more toppings) or Bellacinos(expensive, but fresh toppings) next time I want a slice.
