I went to a wedding reception here recently, and it’s mostly for the rich and snooty people who like to flaunt that they are rich; they may not think of themselves as snooty, but most whom I encountered matched my definition of snooty. Food was mediocre. So I was not impressed.

I attended my brothers wedding reception here on 10⁄17 and have to say that this venue is amazing. Everything ran seamlessly from what I can tell. Many months of planning went into this wedding and it was executed flawlessly. All the staff were helpful and everything was organized well from the servers, bartenders, and valet attendants. The food was excellent: appetizers and dinner. The location is in the woods. It feels very isolated from the outside world. It is a beautiful building that not many get to visit. Yes, there was a slide that was used in the last hour of the reception where people would slide from the second floor loft to the main dining room. Be careful if you’ve had too much to drink.

My brother-in-law and sister-in-law chose the Deer Creek Club as their wedding reception venue and it was simply wonderful. It’s an intimate and cozy venue with excellent food. We greatly enjoyed the entire dinner from the super delicious bread and salad to the duet entrée of seabass and tenderloin. The highlight of the night was when they broke out the slide! Yes, there was a slide that came out around 11pm for all the wedding guests to go down on. What a fun and memorable wedding!

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here. The staff was really nice, the food was fantastic. It’s a very welcoming, warm place. Almost like you’re at your grandmothers house. But really nice. At the end of the party tell them to get out the wooden slide. After a few drinks it’s fun to go up on the second floor and slide down to the first floor!

I attended a wedding rehearsal dinner there back in June. There are few times in my life when I can honestly say my expectations were not only met but exceeded. The beauty that is culinary arts was definitely on display that night. The extra care the head chef took to show is skills was evident, right down to the edible flower placed on one of the hors d’oeuvres. The staff was wonderful and refreshing. It’s nice to see a group of people who work so flawlessly together. They mingled through the crowd toting hors d’oeuvres amazingly. They would appear out if no where with a new dish to try. Never was my drink empty before being offered a fresh one. The manager of the club, I believe his name was Rick, made his way through the group to make sure everyone there was enjoying themselves, which I found to be a pleasant departure from most clubs/banquet halls now days. I was so pleased with the service and the amazing quality of the food from the hors d’oeuvres to the main course, pork osso buko, that I would say this is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had dinning. Many thinks to Rick, and chefs Jeff and Andy who I had the pleasure of meeting that night.

We were there for a wedding reception. They were ok during the reception, but the staff was very rude, including the ownership or management who was in charge that night. They had an issue that came up at the end of the night and they voiced it directly with the bride and groom even though it did not concern them, but a guest. This was classless in my view and if I were looking for a venue for anything I would avoid this place.
