This Dairy Queen is newer, considering it was knocked down and rebuilt a few years back. It’s nicer inside than other fast food places, and has a big menu. I don’t go for the food though, I go for the ice cream. My normal order is a blizzard with Reese’s peanut butter cup. On a recent visit, I changed it up and got the salted caramel truffle blizzard. O… M…G… one of the tastiest things I’ve had in a LONG time! I am dying for another one… and will be back soon. Just go get one!

Worst service ever. The checkout person overcharged/got the order wrong three times, handed us a drink with chocolate smeared all over the outside. She had to get the manager to refund money, who was sneering and angry as I attempted to get him to explain the large discrepancy in the charge. This Dairy Queen has a manager that should not be dealing with the public, too stressful for him. The checkout person’s T-shirt was very dirty, which makes me question the sanitation and food quality now.

Out of salted caramel. They got two blizzards mixed up on our order. On the third blizzard they forgot the mint in the mint Oreo blizzard. Check your order before driving away.

Dinner ;) Got an Oreo Blizzard and Strawberry Malt. But we both wondered if the size small got smaller?

Convenient location and good pricing. Drive thru is a little tight and spooky to maneuver at night but it’s all good. The staff is always very friendly and professional. I appreciate that especially since most seem to be of high school age.

Staff is overly accommodating. Gave a new meal even though we ordered it wrong. Food was fast and prepared well. We’re regulars.

This Dairy Queen is not the best I’ve ever been to. If you decide to order food, make sure not to order anything«special». I ordered a chicken sandwich, and paid extra for bacon and cheese. When I got home to enjoy the sandwich, I was displeased because they forgot the bacon and cheese. Is it THAT hard to put bacon and cheese on a sandwich? Especially if I paid extra for it? The ice cream is okay, it’s mainly ice cream with barely any toppings. If I were you, I would NOT go to this Dairy Queen.

Major dissapointmemt. Ordered German chocolate blizzard. Got something disgusting with chunks of mush I expect was brownie. Size was small. Wierd, I get a the next size up for the same price near my house and get the right thing. Go Figure! Not going there again.

Since I was a kid, Dairy Queen braziers have been some of my favorite fast-food restaurants — not because of the ice cream(although their soft-serve is pretty good) but because of their chargrilled burgers with melty cheese and pretty decent onion rings. This particular location was re-built into a newer-looking Grill & Chill with a TV in the dining area and seating both outside and in. The location is clean, and the employees have always been bright and cheerful. So here’s my one complaint about this location. If I go here anytime between about 4:30 and 6:30 on a weekday and I want to go north on Big Bend back toward Manchester, I get stuck. Because of where the restaurant is situated near the intersection of Big Bend/Laclede(Hanley), there is no turning left from the Dairy Queen parking lot by any means.
