I ate here last Tuesday and the lady ringing me out was too busy chatting and rushing through my order that she rang my order for $ 113.30 instead of the $ 11.33 it was supposed to be. She voided the transaction and SWORE to me it wouldn’t go through. Well it did and it has been 7 days and they still have not fixed the issue and on top of that they did clear the $ 11.33 charge so they were happy to take my money, but not fix their mistake that was withholding over $ 100 from me. I have contacted corporate and they still haven’t responded. They may be «locally owned» but they are NOT local. They do not care about you. They are a chain. DONOTSUPPORTTHEM

This Crazy Bowls location has good food but the service and accuracy of orders has always proved to be an issue on my infrequent visits. Have confidence that your food will be fresh and hot but have the foresight to check your order and make sure that they provide what you ordered and how you ordered it. This may save you the returns trips that I’ve become accustomed to when visiting this location.

Solid establishment and my go-to for fast healthy food in St. Louis. This place deserves to be a national chain. I usually get the crispy buffalo chicken wrap(which is seriously addicting). You can’t go wrong with one of their bowls either. The stir fry bowl with tofu was awesome. Also now they have the organic iced teas with FREE Refills. What’s not to love?

I had my first visit earlier in the week. I had the chicken caesar wrap, and although it was warm, soft, and filling, I share some of the same thoughts as in Charleen’s review. Although aspects of the wrap were tasty, all the ingredients were separated rather than evenly distributed. I could have a bite of rice without much flavor, and the next bite, get chicken and sauce, and another bite, lettuce. The flavor of the sauce was good, but I feel the rest of the wrap lacked flavor if it didn’t have sauce in the bite I took. The presentation and appearance was pretty good, but execution and flavor needed improvement. I also wish the chips came with Salsa or sauce. I’d say I’ll likely return to try other items on the menu.

My personal trainer recommended Crazy Bowls as a healthy alternative to other local fast food. I go almost once a week now, I love being able to grab a big bowl of veggies when I’m in a rush or don’t feel like cooking. Their vegetarian options are my favorite, I’ve never actually tried the meat so I can’t give any insight into how they are… But my veggies have always been bright and fresh. They offer quinoa as a grain choice and it’s some of the best quinoa I’ve ever tried — I really wish I could figure out how to cook mine at home like that. They also have really filling vegan soups full of things like kale and chickpeas. I get the small bowls, which are a good serving for an average woman. It always fills me up and the price isn’t bad — I think I pay $ 6 for a veggie teriyaki bowl. I’ve really been trying to make an attempt to try more things on the menu, but their teriyaki bowls and vegetarian zesty beans and rice are my go-tos. There is a lot of variety to choose from, and they also have small«appetizer» options like falafels and wontons. It’s a great place to go when everyone wants something different for lunch. I always pick up the food and take it home, and my order is usually ready within 5 – 10 minutes. I’ve noticed there’s a pretty high turn around rate here, but the staff is generally friendly and it looks clean so I have nothing to complain about.

I guess I can see the attraction for the vegetarian crowd, but overall I’m not a big fan of CBW. The wrap was too big and poorly made — all the protein on one side and lettuce on the other such that you had to take two bites to get a complete bite’s worth of taste. Also, I don’t really understand it but they serve their wraps with a side of tortilla chips. No salsa or dip, just chips to go with your dry wrap. They do have this big, nice sauce bar. None of the sauces seemed like they were for the chips though, and I didn’t really know what to do with any of them. I’m not good at the sauce it yourself concept — if a certain sauce goes with a certain flavor, then either suggest it on the menu or just put it on the damn sandwich in the first place. Seemed a little pricey too for a pile of lettuce on a tortilla and some dry chips. Maybe I just did it wrong, but probably don’t have to worry about it unless someone I’m eating with insists on this place.

I never would have thought putting rice in a wrap with your protein would be so filling. Thank you CBW for changing my perspective on that! I was sent here by suggestion and it is now one of my favorite spots to go. I like how they have a limited menu yet there’s a ton of selection. Their tortilla chips are to die for so be prepared to want to purchase more. The staff was super friendly and eager to help and aid you in any way you might need. I see more of these establishments popping up around STL so I’m excited to see where they land next.

I get the Mediterranean wrap because it’s the best vegetarian offering. By itself, nothing special. But what the heck do they put in their buffalo sauce that’s on the bar? And why does it work on everything? The Med wrap, the chips… everything. And why do I not have an unlimited supply of this stuff everywhere I go? While I am asking questions, why do they put about a head’s worth of lettuce in my wrap? Even after I ask for less lettuce. Do they think this is funny? Don’t they understand that I have an inordinately small mouth? My mouth is the bane of my dentist’s existence. Don’t they care that I cannot even come close to fitting their lettuce wrap into my mouth and that I just don’t want that much lettuce in general? Oh, and why is that one guy always there and why is he so surly? After all, I’m the one who is about to get a bunch of lettuce I don’t want and buffalo sauce on my white shirt.

Another great vegetarian haven. They have quinoa! How cool is that?! I often times get the already vegetarian Mediterranean wrap or create my own veg dish by subbing tofu. My favorite veg creation is the sesame chicken(sub tofu) super bowl with quinoa and spicy slaw. Dress it up with the jalapeño cilantro and some pico de gallo. So good! Only critique is that I wish they would mix their wrap ingredients before wrapping.

OMG do I love CBW!!! They have the most delicious wraps ever! My fav is the Mediterranean w/brown rice. Nothing I have had here has ever been bad. I also love that they have vegetarian and vegan options. This is one of my favorite places to eat. The service is always fast, and friendly. Anytime I am craving a wrap, I find myself here. =]
