Very poor communication. Showed up for an appointment only to find no one there was available to assist me.

Tried having them fix my phone, called in advance and was told they have the best cell phone repair person in St Louis… No they don’t. They can fix screens, so if all you need is a screen fixed they might be the place. Wasted my time driving over an hour each time to drop off and pick my phone up, and the money for them to tell me they couldn’t fix it. Was able to get fixed at another place who uses factory parts.

I should know Morse code a lot better than I do, considering how much I over pressed my power button on my iphone 4s. Thankfully, CPR had it repaired very fast for a very reasonable amount! My twitching subsided instantaneously from being separated a short while, and I was back to being cracked out on my phone like normal.

I had a problem with my htc and sprint said that it could not be repaired and to buy a new one. i looked up cell phone repair in my area and CPR was on the list, so i called them and i did not need apt to bring it in so i could bring it up and drop it off on my way to work. when i got there the lady was very helpful at explaining what it could be(she explained that it could be the power button or the charging port) that was causing it to «boot cycle». she also explained to me that both things were a solder job and it will take a little time(now im thinking a day or two). so once i understood everything i dropped it off and paid the labor fee(it was only $ 45). I got a call 2 hours later saying that it is done and ready for pick up. WOW i was so happy! the repair only cost me $ 69 for the whole repair, a new one would of cost over $ 450 so it was a great deal. I am so glad that i gave the store a chance. i will be back if i have any other problems!!! THANKYOUCPR Helen N.

It’s unfortunate that my first review in quite some time has to be a negative one, but my experience with this CPR location was so bad that I felt compelled to write a review detailing it. I want to start by saying that while I am sure that this company in general offers a worthwhile service, this particular location should be avoided at all costs. You would be better off simply going to your service provider’s store and having them fix your phone, instead of going to this CPR location and having the geniuses who work there TRY to fix your phone. Heavy emphasis on the word try. So, I went to CPR because I was having an issue with the home button on my iPhone sticking. I went to Verizon, and the guy there recommended I go see the people at CPR. Said he’s never heard of anyone having a problem with them. Well, I guess there’s a first for everything. In hindsight, I wish I would have asked about the insurance I was unsure whether or not I had(which it turns out I did) on the phone and what they cover right there in Verizon, but I didn’t think about it at the time. After determining that I did have insurance, but it didn’t cover water damage, I decided to take the gamble that it was water damage and just took it to CPR. Needless to say, I lost that gamble in a pretty big way. I dropped my phone off at about 11:30am, signed some stuff saying they could look at it and everything, and was told it would be ready in an hour or two, most likely. So far, so good. I went and ran some errands for awhile to give them an adequate amount of time to fix what I thought was a relatively minor problem. So when I came back, more than 3 hours later, you would think that I would be good to go, right? Wrong. They had to take one of their technicians to the emergency room because the people who work here are the kind of people who don’t realize that they need to go to the hospital for a brown recluse bite until it takes over their entire back. But whatever. Shaking my head and trying to be as understandable as I could be, I asked the lady how much longer she thought it would be. She said that they were just now getting to my phone, and it would be another hour. So I decide to wait in the store, because I have somewhere to be in a little over an hour, but I wanted my(repaired) phone back first. This is the point that I really should have given up and gone back to Verizon. So I wait. And wait. And then we have to evacuate the store because one of the technicians popped a lithium battery, and they were worried about the fumes. I wish I was joking. So, nearly an hour passes, and I have to leave. Is my phone ready yet? Hah! Nope! So I go to where I have to be, and come back AGAIN(3rd time in one day), and finally, they have it finished. But we’re still not finished! Although they did a fine job fixing the issue I was having with my phone, and for about $ 60, wasn’t too unreasonable, they did something to my microphone in the process of fixing my home button, and when I got it back home, I realized that when I called people, no one could hear me. GREAT. So I took it back in the next day. Keep in mind this is the fourth time I’ve been to this store, which isn’t all that close to my house. I asked to see a manager, and explained what was going on. They took a look at my phone immediately(although it was still more than 30 minutes before they fixed it), and fixed it for free, which was nice, since they were the ones that broke the microphone in the first place. But the thing that really made me laugh was the manager’s explanation that they fixed the microphone for free not because they were the ones who had broken it, or at least not checked it to see if it worked(apparently it’s all one part: home button, charging station, speaker, and microphone), but because I had endured so much b.s. over the course of the last 24 hours. I’m really surprised they didn’t have to ask me to leave due to my expletive-riddled verbal onslaught after that remark. In short, if you want someone who is knowledgable, skilled, and courteous to fix a problem with your cell phone, either take it to another CPR location or just pay for the insurance on your phone and take it to your provider. I’m finished.
