Some of the best jambalaya I’ve had: sufficiently spicy, and no skimping on the chicken & sausage. Can’t wait to try one of their sandwiches.

This food truck came by my old workplace, since my office did not have a cafeteria nearby. This place is actually quite good. The customer service was not bad and the wait times were pretty quick. I had their pulled pork sandwich which was a hoagie sandwich with the pulled pork and some delicious cole slaw as a topping. I thought it was a nice addition to the sandwich. I might come back to visit during food truck Fridays, so this place is definitely recommended.

Oxymoron Shrimp Po’Boy, served House style. Jumbo Shrimp, homemade cole slaw, and some secret sauce and a dab of Cajun hot sauce all wrapped up in the fresh and toasted french bread… pure excellence. I’ve always been a huge fan of Cajun cuisine and this is my first attempt at Completely Sauced Food Truck, and boy I’m excited to return. There is great customer service here, and the food was prepared to order. The workers inside were knowledgable and talked me through some menu items and recommended the great Cajun hot sauce which complimented the flavors so well. With the cream from the slaw and sauce, the bite from the Cajun spices, the hot sauce really emphasized the tastes from all parties. Cajun food, New Orleans style, and great customer service… I say go as soon as you can!

Lately this food truck has been falling a little short on their customer service that set them apart from other food trucks. While they still serve excellent po’boys, they no longer do it with the same level of service that set them apart and awarded them a five star review. Recently they have both accepted an advance order from me that they were unable to fill on time and completely failed to show on a day they were scheduled to come to my work, leaving me with a rumbly tummy. While it’s clear they still care, always offering their apologies when their service falls short, and sometimes even providing complimentary beignets, when it comes to getting that tasty spicy po’boy in a timely fashion, I can no longer rely on them with five star confidence.

Food Trucks have been all the rage for a while now and although I like to consider myself on the cutting edge of trends I had never had the Food Truck experience until this past Friday. Shocking I know, especially given the fact that I was a huge fan of the movie«Chef». Completely Sauced, food with a New Orleans flair, showed up at my office building along with another food truck(the name escapes me) and after having a chance to preview their menu I had already decided I wanted the Havana, a Po Boy sandwich with shredded spicy pork, ham, jack cheese and creole spicy mustard(hold the Pickle). The written description was tantalizing. I arrived to the food truck line just in time; before about a hundred people lined up! I did order the Havana along with some beignets and waited just a few short minutes before my specially made Havana sandwich came up along with my warm and sugary beignets. By the time I got back to my desk and ate my sandwich I was so hungry I swallowed it whole. It was just the right amount of spiciness. The beignets were good warm but I think if I had been patient enough for them to get cold they may not have been quite so mouth-watering. All in all I really liked this experience. Their menu was so well done that I really wanted to try a bit of everything. The food did not disappoint the service was spot on and next time I get the chance I will hit up this food truck for some of that New Orleans flair.

I went to a wedding with Completely Sauced as one of the truck caterers. Although not a full menu served, the tastings were delicious. Jambalaya balls fried in a crumb coating. Crispy fried texture flavor mixed with jambalaya, oh delicious. They served well made grits and shrimp, spiced with a little heat but flavorful. Crawfish bread, unique flavor. And the staple red beans and rice, well balanced. I would definitely seek out this truck for elevated southern food.

I ordered the oxymoron(grilled shrimp po’ boy) old school dressed and was very impressed with the freshness of the ingredients and the impact of flavor. The beignets are a must also.

This is one of my favorite food trucks. I’ve tried a number of their menu items and never been disappointed. The Havana(cuban) is outstanding, the Jambalya is bursting with flavor, the red beans and rice have a really interesting and wonderful aspect to them. I also really like the shrimp po-boy although occasionally the shrimp seem a little fishy like they weren’t very fresh before they were cooked.

I really hate to be the debbie downer, but I found this food truck just okay. I would want to give it 3.5 stars, but I am rounding down because Unilocal won’t let me do halves :(Maybe it’s a personal taste thing? The service is great and the workers are extremely quick and sweet! I ordered House spicy chicken sandwich and got an order of beignets. The spicy chicken sandwich was decent, not quite spicy. But it just seemed a little plain in my opinion. Please don’t get me wrong, the sandwich was decent and well prepared, but I didn’t find any unique taste/flavor to it. It could have easily been something I picked up from a fast-food restaurant instead of a delicious food truck. The beignets, though were wonderful! I highly recommend them if you’re coming here. They’re so light and flaky! I think this place has a lot of potential, and I think maybe I just picked incorrectly.

One of my favorite food trucks in the area. Visited about 4 – 5 times this past year. Crab cakes. Delicious. Packed with crab meat. Delicious sauce. Jambalaya balls. Very tasty. Deep fried, who wouldn’t like? The jambalaya rice is excellent with lots of chicken and sausage. It can be a bit spicy. Wish they had this option more often. Jambalaya. Get it everytime. Medium level spice, so a little spicy for me, but soooo good. Po Boys. Delicious. Tasty. Fresh cole slaw. Sometimes a little dry, would be nice to have more sauce. Beignets. Not too sweat. Crispy. Flavorful. Get this everytime it’s offered. Customer service. Excellent. Large order was missing a few things and they ensured they’d make it right! Highly recommend! Observed at times the lines are not as long as other trucks, perhaps it’s not clear from they name that they serve awesome New Orleans cuisine.

The truck was across the way at the other building today so I decided I would try them out. I love Cajun food. I got the house spicy chicken poorboy and a side of jambalaya. The sandwich was great and the jambalaya was fantastic. Both had a nice«kick» to them with the spiciness. Fast service also, food was ready in about 2 min. I would definitely recommend. Only reason they didn’t get 5 stars was for the price. A bit high IMO.

Attended two Food Truck Fridays in Tower Grove Park and tried several dishes from Completely Sauced. The jambalaya balls(jambalaya in a fried ball) — Aces. The shrimp poor boy with remoulade sauce was very good. 4 stars This time I tried the crawfish bread. The chef baked a crawfish with sauce within a french bread. Marvelous. We also enjoyed a pulled pork dish with sauce over chips. Very very yummy. Creative and delicious.

I stopped by their Truck for Food Truck Friday. I tried the Jambalaya Balls and a Pork Poor Boy. The balls were tremendously good. Sausage, rice, pork, spices, all in a fritter… or over sized hush puppy. Maybe the best thing I had at FTF. The sammie came sitting it a pile of grease. I ended up eating the pork out of it with a fork. The innards were good, but the grease ruined that dish for me.

At the St. Louis Art Museum’s Friday summer film fest, a whole bunch of food trucks showed up to feed the masses of movie-goers. As tends to happen at these things, the lines for each truck was ridiculously long. Except for Completely Sauced — for some reason the line for this one stayed quite short. I think part of that may be the name — while trucks like Seoul Taco and Go! Gyro! Go! make their contents clear, you wouldn’t guess just looking at Completely Sauced that they serve New Orleans Cajun food. Which is really too bad, because their food is really, really good. They have a core set of menu items — Po Boys, Spicy Chicken and Pork sandwiches, and Jambalaya — and most come two ways: house or traditional. I opted for the house Oxymoron, a sandwich with grilled shrimp, remoulade, mustard and slaw. This may be the fastest I’ve ever received food from a truck, I only waited for a minute or two. The sandwich was delicious. There’s really no way to eat this thing gracefully, but I didn’t care one bit and just scarfed it down. I tend to shy away from really spicy food, so I was pleased that the Cajun rub on the shrimp was cooled by the creamy slaw. The kicker here was the mustard, which gave the whole thing a great tanginess. The only think keeping this review from being 5 stars in the corn salad that came with the sandwich. It was one of the saddest, blandest little corn salads I’ve ever had. The corn had an unpleasant taste like it had just come from a can. If they change up this side for something better, though, Completely Sauced would easily get 5 stars in my book.

I just popped my food truck cherry with Completely Sauced! And let me tell you, I AM completely sauced! I think Completely Sauced is one of the newer food trucks in St. Louis, but they are definitely going to be a hit. They’re pretty much serving Louisianian-style food. I was at the Art St. Louis opening of Food, Glorious Food, and they were one of the food trucks that were at the event. On the menu(and I’m not sure if this is always or not) were crabcakes, Oxymoron Shrimp Po’Boys, Blackened Chicken Po’Boys, a pork po’boy, The Havana(a Cuban sandwich), and jambalaya. Prices ranged from $ 6 to $ 8, and they do take Square(credit cards). So the line was moderately long but moved pretty fast. I glimpsed almost all the food choices going out to the patrons before I made it to the head of the line, and seriously, it looked good! They told me that the blackened chicken and the pork had a good strong kick to it, so it was between the shrimp and the Havana for me. The Havana was a good size and looked amazing, and I had yet to see the shrimp one. The lady taking my order recommended the shrimp one, and she was totally on the ball with it. It was… awesomely delish. So my shrimp po’boy came nestled on this soft, chewy, extremely fresh roll. To prevent the food klutz in me from kicking in on the street, I sort of ate it deconstructed. The top of the roll was amazing by itself and even better accompanied by bites of the po’boy. The shrimp po’boy contains five perfectly done spiced shrimp with their own version of coleslaw containing both the regular cabbage and red cabbage. The coleslaw was more on the sweet tangy side than a vinegary taste. There was also included a side of corn mix, which I just dumped into the po’boy, which actually complimented the po’boy very well. By the time I reached the bottom of the roll, the juices had soaked into the roll, but the roll was still intact and super flavorful. It was a yummy and wonderful ending. Friends had gotten the pork po’boy and had pronounced it pretty good too. However, a friend had gotten hers without any of the additional toppings, and she found that the taste of the po’boy was much blander than she had expected. The meal will fill you up… but I have to admit, after I got home a mere four hours after eating… I had to rummage in my kitchen and make myself a midnight snack.
