Before I made an appointment with this eye care center, I asked if they carried my eye insurance company and they confirmed that they did. As a result, I set up an appointment with them right away. The service was great, as I was services right away and the eye exam was quick yet thorough. After my eye exam was completed and I was fit for contacts, the same associate I confirmed my insurance with, notified me that she did not carry my insurance. Wow, I was blown away as that was the sole reason for me coming to this specific location. I ended up paying $ 110 dollars in total(72 for exam and $ 40 for fitting). I called another eye are center and all of that would have cost me $ 10. To say the least, I am disappointed in their lack of accurate info provided to a customer. This ALL could have been avoided if the associate properly did her job and checked my insurance through my policy number in the first place. After expressing that I didn’t want to come back for a SECOND fitting, she was a bit frustrated with me and stated that she was trying to make sure I’m not wasting my money. Overall, I had a bad experience with Clarkson.

When I returned to pick up my new glasses, I realized that they are horribly out of focus. Apparently they don’t measure out the position of the pupils in respect to lenses in order to position the center of focus there. The staff member tried to talk me into repositioning the glasses however for me to see, they would have to be floating on my face and you can only look at he bottom most part. Umm no! Then she stated that she did measure but I don’t remember such action being taken. I asked for the lenses to be redone and they promised to send them off as urgent. Well, still no glasses.

The front-office staff are THEBEST! So so nice and friendly. Extremely helpful. I’m always able to get in for an appointment quickly and there is very little(if any at all) wait to get in to see the doctor. Turnaround time is super fast if you’re ordering a pair of glasses. Couldn’t ask for a better experience at the eye doctor. Thank you all so much for the great customer service!

The staff is horrible, dramatic, and completely disrespectful. Just changed to this location and never going back. The staff is pathetic and when you dont have good staff/front desk there should be no business.

This place is disorganized, inefficient, and manipulative. I had an appointment in March 2014 — the ophthalmologist recommended a specific brand of contact lenses for me — when I received my bill it far exceeded what I’ve paid in the past and was far more than their website advertises. Worse yet — I still have not received my lenses and it’s the end of August. It took 3 phone calls to their office for them to find a paper note in my chart stating my order had been placed on hold. Unbelievable.

This place is bright, airy, and the staff is very friendly and professional. I had a great experience here and don’t plan on going anywhere else for my eye care. Brittany and Brianna(don’t know if she spells her name this way) were knowledgeable and actually helped pick my contact lens color. The optometrist helped also and was very patient with me as I went through my lens training. Yes… I recently decided to wear contacts and even though it was intimidating at first… the staff was encouraging and supportive.
