The line at 5:30pm is ridiculously long! Probably spent 20 minutes in line to place our order. The line never got shorter while we ate inside, so not sure how long the long line actually lasts. This location is located adjacent to SLU dorms and apartments, so lots of college kids eating here. The first worker we encountered was having a difficult time comprehending what we(and the people in front of us) were ordering, so I’m thinking he was the reason for the slow down. White rice? You mean brown rice? You want both rices? Maybe the first person in the assembly line needs to have the best training, and the new guy can be the one asking about cheese and sour cream. The bright side of going during the busing dinner rush: all the food was fresh! We had brand new steaming hot rice, perfectly cooked medium rare juicy steak, and right off the pan peppers/onions. If you are so inclined, you can ask for cilantro to be added to your burrito/bowl(they have some chopped up in the back that they will add for free if you ask).

One big word SLOW! they take forever at this location! The line will only be 4 or 5 deep and they take forever! I am here now and have waited over 10 minutes and was number 6 in line! If you want quick this is not the branch for you!

Did an online order earlier today with a friend. We both ordered tacos. There was barely enough meat between the three tacos to make two tacos. We both had the same problem of having very little meat on our tacos. Very disappointed I paid for three tacos but ended up combining the meat into two tacos. Never again.

This Chipotle is worse than most… Service, cleanliness and quality at this location leave a great deal to be desired.

I submitted an order at around 6:25 for Chipotle through postmates… It said it would take 40 mins. I watched my driver on the map,(at about 30 minutes after I ordered) go to my closest location(2 miles from my house) for a few minutes and then drive to a further location which is another 20(at least) minutes away. I texted and called her with no response. She finally responded saying the line was too long and that’s why she decided to go to the further one. The problem is that it’s now been well over an hour and she’s at least 20 minutes from my house with food that is definitely going to be cold by the time it gets here. I tried to call your phone Line, it said the wait was 7 – 10 minutes. After 5.5 minutes it sent me to an answering service which really upsets me. I called(which is a pain) so I could talk to a real person, and you direct me to a flipping answering machine?! I expect a level of customer service here. I’m respectfully holding back a multitude of expletives. We got your food cold, 45 mins late and missing the chips. I was really excited to get your services in my area but I am seriously disappointed and I expect someone to contact me immediately. This is ridiculous.

Really? If you burn the sh*t out of your food, don’t serve it to your customers, and definitely don’t charge them for it. Won’t be coming back to this location.

I went in, ordered a quesadilla. Took a seat and occupied myself as I waited for my meal. The wait was much longer than It should have been because the staff let my first quesadilla burn and dropped my second quesadilla on the ground. I only ate after their third attempt at making me a simple quesadilla. The staff did apologize, and offered a free drink(after burning my quesadilla) and a free meal(after dropping my quesadilla). I thought I would give the place a second chance and came back the next day to redeem my free meal. When I requested the infamous quesoburrito, one staff member initially refused to make it, claiming that chipotle had ceased making it because of legal issues with taco bell. Only after one of her coworkers corrected her did she make me a quesoburrito. And when she did, she obliterated it. She couldn’t wrap a basic burrito — instead she gave me a ball that was wrapped with a quesadilla. I didn’t know how to eat it, but I definitely couldn’t eat it by hand, so I had to cut it up and eat it piece by piece. an experience which made the meal much less satisfying and made it seem more like work than a meal to enjoy. while I was there, I saw who I believe to be the manager’s boss meeting with each staff member individually. That’s good, hopefully they make some changes around there. I will definitely never go back into a chipotle, even for the convenience of the location of the store(i.e. why I went into this one). Qdoba all the way. At least the staff seemed nice.

Chipolte gets me right where I need to be when I need to be taken to that place! I prefer going early(as close to opening time) as possible to feel like I’m getting the first batch of ingredients. I usually opt for the veggie bowl: brown rice, black beans, pico and corn. I try not to get those delicious lime tossed chips but it never works out that way; I get them, I love them, I devour the entire bag. The staff here is super nice and fast; as they handle a lot of the SLU students in transit from class, work, dorm or whatever. The restroom is locked by code which keeps it honest.

This chipotle is in an awesome location, next to a big parking lot, SLU and also a Starbucks. Lots of space, with a lot of natural lighting thanks to almost all the wall being glass. Don’t feel discouraged if you see a long line waiting: they are usually pretty quick and will get your food ready in no time.

Wish I could go here on the daily, but having college student loans only allocates me to go once a week. Fresh tasting chicken, steak, guacamole, tortillas, lettuce, corn, beans, etc. This place isn’t authentic. Nothing beats greasy mexican carne asada burritos. But, eating Chipotle makes me feel good about myself. I guess that’s what matters.

I don’t really give reviews that often but this Chipotle needs to step it up a bit. I went last week and gave it another chance this week– both times half my fajita vegetables were so black they were hard, and the pico was tasteless and mushy.

Awful behavior from one of the workers. I saw some cheese in the guacamole and asked her to make sure I didn’t cheese in my guacamole, being allergic(vegan) to it. She got an attitude and got my guac from another container. While paying for my burrito, I saw her stir in the cheese that was sitting on top of the guacamole! I’m like WTF??? Suppose someone comes in that is actually allergic to dairy ingests that concoction? I will never go there again.

Just visited Chipotle, as I have many times and the staff did an excellent job. I didn’t realize that there was a promo for Halloween but in the midst of a rush at 8:30 pm the staff did an excellent job of working as a team and stiff being polite and friendly. Good job guys!

Being that I am loyal to Qdoba, I refused to give Chipotle a try. However, now that Qdoba has raised their prices(I paid $ 12 for a craft 2 meal with a side of guacamole… WHAAAT?), I’ve tried them twice recently. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl with black beans, brown rice, both hot and medium salsas, corn, cheese and sour cream. I ordered a side of guacamole and chips. The good: chipotle’s guacamole absolutely blows Qdoba’s out of the water, and for one simple, yet extremely important reason: it has more flavor. It’s chunky(how I like it) with red onion in it, but I can’t exactly pinpoint what else is in it. Qdoba’s is pretty half-assed. Also, I believe Chipotle uses white corn which seems a little sweeter. It adds a different element to the dish that makes it that much more delicious. The bad: they’ve had a line both times I’ve been there and it moves SLOW. I spent almost a half hour in there last time… GEESH. I can imagine trying to go in around lunch… not happening. I wouldn’t even do that to myself… it’s a bit of a hassle. Overall, if I’m in the mood to stand in line and really need a fresh ingredient fix, I’ll be going to Chipotle. Qdoba will probably be my #2 choice.

This might be the coolest Chipotle in the world — or, dare I say — the galaxy. Just look at the building: It’s a flying saucer! I did not grow up in St. Louis, but my husband tells me the building originally was a Phillips 66 back in the ‘60s. It’s now a Chipotle and a Starbucks. And it’s stellar. I’m from a rural, conservative part of Texas, where the largest buildings we had were our massive churches. The land was flat, the roads wide, and the speed limits high. When I moved here, to the Mid County region, I was afraid to drive. I kid you not. I know this isn’t LA or anything, but compared to where I used to live, it kind of is. You have hills. You have roads with narrow lanes and no center lanes(e.g., Manchester, in some parts). You have one-way streets. You actually have that thing known as rush hour. I’ve lived here for five years now, and I think I’ve adjusted well. However, I’m still a little skittish about driving anywhere east of Skinker/McCausland. The roads become narrower, the buildings taller, and the Kitty claustrophobic. I was pleased to discover that this Chipotle is right off of 64. It was a simple drive for me, and the building was not at all difficult to find. I mean, it’s a flying saucer. You can’t miss it. :) Parking might be a little tricky during peak hours. I was there in the late afternoon, and even then, I was lucky to get a spot as someone was leaving. Another person pulled into my spot when I left. Recall that Chipotle shares the building with Starbucks; you’ll probably find yourself driving around the Starbucks drive-thru line. Inside, this Chipotle is like other Chipotles. They have their wood-and-metal theme going on. The dining area is small, but it is larger than that of the Kirkwood location. With the exception of a few individual tables, most of the seating is communal. They have a high counter and a low counter with stools, and several of the individual tables are positioned right next to each other. They made good use of the limited space they had. The food is just as good as it is at other locations. I had my usual veggie bowl with brown rice, pinto beans, fajita veggies, and all salsas except for the salsa verde. I was in good company, as I overheard several other people ordering veggie bowls/burritos while I was there. What makes this Chipotle great is how cool you’ll feel when you eat here. The type of music Chipotle plays is far, far away from what you would find in my music library, but somehow, I enjoy it. It’s mellow. Sure, the place might get crowded, but it’s crowded with hip music playing in the background! Even my cup was kind of cool(see photo). This particular location is near a couple of universities, and you can tell. At most Chipotles I’ve been to, the other diners seem to be mostly people in suits or uniforms who are on their lunch break or people in athletic attire who are stopping by after a workout or yoga class. There’s nothing wrong with that, but let me tell you, the people dining here looked awesome. There was this one woman, probably in her thirties, who was wearing an adorably eclectic outfit. She was soft-spoken and extraordinarily polite while placing her veggie bowl order(e.g., «Oh, yes. That’s perfect. Thank you so much.» :)) I imagined she was a graduate student or professor. Then this awesome group of twenty-somethings walked in. They looked like they had stepped straight off of the Urban Outfitters website. One of the guys had a cool, quirky ponytail. All of them were dressed in fantastically trendy autumnal outfits. I felt like such a city Kitty(a Kitty in the city, not the toilet-training device for cats). Bob Marley’s «Get Up, Stand Up» was playing. I was sitting there, eating a veggie bowl, surrounded by people with fantastic style. Everyone was attached to a cell phone. This kind of thing would never have happened back home. In the South, I would have been surrounded by people in cowboy hats, and we probably would have been listening to country music. My people would have demanded that. Though, I suppose the main reason this would never have occurred in my homeland is that we didn’t(and still don’t) have a Chipotle there. ;) This isn’t going to be my regular Chipotle, but I loved every minute that I was there. Keep in mind that this is coming from someone who lived in a land of big hair, camouflage, and cowboy boots, where grocery shopping would be one of the most exciting things you would do all week.(Oh, my goodness! They artistically stacked the soda 12-packs this week!) So, maybe you won’t be as enthused about this Chipotle as I was, but at least you’ll get to say that you ate at a Chipotle shaped like a flying saucer.

This Chipotle is as good as any. I stopped by with one of the girls in my graduate program on our way back from a float trip down the meramac. We were damp, sunburnt, and probably a bit gross after a day in the heat, but the employees were as warm and inviting as ever. They joked with us, and one of them even helped me show my friend the«proper» way of unwrapping your burrito so it doesn’t fall apart! What else can I really say? It’s Chipotle. We all know what the food tastes like: good. Outstanding quality for food that’s cheap or to go. The service at this place, however, is worth 5 stars. Side note, the prices are even cheaper here than in the area I’m from(Atlanta). An unexpected, but welcome surprise!

They serve burnt black fajitas. Some staff have rude and have bad attitude. I did not liked the service. When complaint about the burnt fajitas the staffs says it is instructions received by their corporate. Cannot believe who will like burnt fajitas. It has no nutritional value and it absolutely unhealthy. May even cause food poisoning eating these burnt-charcoal fajitas.

This is Chipotle. You’re not coming to Unilocal to find out what their burritos taste like. Therefor I’m not writing this review about their food. It’s tasty. It’s big. It’s waaaaaaay more(calorically) than a person needs for one meal. I’m writing this about the people. I live very nearby, and I’ve been in a couple of times. Every time I’ve been in, the staff has been super friendly and helpful. I had to speak to a manager recently(a special order kind of thing, not a problem with the food or any of the staff), and he was incredibly accommodating and friendly and we were able to work everything out. I know it can get annoying having to deal with college kids day in and day out, but these guys are awesome.
