This place is the friggin tits! I have been eating here for the past 8 month and I have never ordered anything bad. I’ve never actually been in the place, as I get it delivered, but, delivery is always on time and hot and delicious! Egg drop soup is freaking phenomenal. Vegetarian dishes are the bees knees. Chicken szechuan is my personal fav shit… fire! Don’t forget the crab rangoon, out of this world baby!

Fast delivery. Horrible food. No flavor, no taste. Nothing fresh. Kind of greasy. Crab Rangoon all fried dough, no filling. Orange chicken had crazy amount of breading. Will not eat here again.

Fried rice tasted like straight smoke and dirty grease. The general tso chicken was impossible to chew threw although the flavoring was good. Won’t order from here again.

The wontons were great. General Tso’s chicken was good. Rice was horrible. Chicken wings were greasy and broken??? Fast delivery. I would not go out of my way to order here again.

Took a couple tries for me to warm up to this place. Special St. Paul Sandwich was fine. Kung pao chicken has a sad assortment of vegetables(celery, carrots, some green bell pepper), but tasted fine. Had some kick. Vegetable lo mein looked lacked a little flavor, but at least had a decent amount of vegetables. On my second trip, the chicken lo mein tasted better. General Tso’s chicken has some substance, tastes okay. I really liked the broccoli in it. Hot & sour soup was pretty good, had some substance to it too. Fried egg roll was good, so were the crab rangoons. I find it adorable that they sell random jewelry, purses, and calendars too. The calendars made me nostalgic for my childhood, so I bought a couple. Lady behind the counter was really friendly!

Location. not so cool. Delivery, yes please! It might depend on the day of the week with the quality of food you get, but I would say we order from here at least once every couple of weeks. Usually on a week night. I’m a big fan of their chicken lo mein and mongolian beef. There’s something about the hot wok oil flavor that really makes it good. We got take out over the weekend a couple of times and I think it’s not quite as good. Worth the risk for take-out, that is for sure!

We just moved to st. Louis from California and Me and my fiancé just had china wok. by far the WORST Chinese food i have had in my life. the chicken and beef both tasted the flavor what so ever. it seemed like the cook(definetly not a chef) just threw some chunks of vegetables and meat together and poured some soy sauce into it. i would not order from there again. id take a top ramen over their food… very disappointed…

Decent Chinese food, but the delivery time doubled, from 30 to 60 minutes, with no explanation. I’m usually more thorough, or at least verbose, with my reviews but that sums it up.

A group of dudes and myself went here one night, and it was a very strange experience. There were definitely some patrons who had some… unnatural highs… if you know what I mean… dining in. I would not recommend the egg foo young. I still have nightmares about it. My friends seem to enjoy it — cheap chinese food. I just can’t bring myself to go back here after the«foo».

My old roommates and I used to call this place«Fascist China» due to the large«bulletproof» glass window separating the staff from the plebes that flock to this place for regular-old-Chinese American food. I used to order from them all the time, since they were only a block away from my Dogtown apartment. Recently, I stopped in(after a two year gap in visits) and was immediately recognized by one of the employees. She asked if I lived in the area anymore and I told her that I didn’t, but I did want their Happy Family to go. It’s basically a lot of beef, pork, chicken and seafood in a really tasty lobster sauce. It’s well worth it and can certainly feed a family. Ordering from them is very fast, and personable. Places like this make a Dogtown life very tolerable.

Quality cheap Chinese food. That says it all. It was at China Wok Express that I finally tried a St. Paul sandwich — and fell in love. The upside to its location in the massive, vacant and blighted ghost town that is St. Louis Marketplace? Soooooooooo much parking.
