Decent Mexican food, so don’t expect perfection, like some reviewers. It’s a good place to grab lunch or a quick dinner though. A solid spot.

Why can’t you offer a vegetarian bean option? Seriously. You have pinto beans and black beans. Can’t you leave th pork out of just the black beans? I would eat here again. I would. As it stands, I haven’t eaten in a Casa in many years. Your beans have ruined everything between us. Well, most everything. The fact that I have inquired(very politely) about the very same thing through the website a couple/three times and received ZERO response is pretty flaky too.

I am VERY surprised by the low rating. It’s a decent tex-mex restaurant. If you go into it knowing this, then you will likely not be disappointed. I’ve been here numberous times(close to work) and never had a terrible experience. Sure the salsa is boring and everything is smothered in cheese but they offer all your standard tex-mex fares, the margaritas are very good(if you have never had a banana flavored margarita, do it! Only $ 3 for a big glass of frozen goodness at happy hour), and they have great happy hour food(and non margarita) specials during the week. Don’t hate just because it’s not«authentic». Not everything has to be «authentic». I’m Asian and I like to eat at Panda Express every once in a while. Is it authentic? Hell no. But doesn’t mean it’s not tasty in a different way. Don’t be scared away by the 2.5 stars. Give this place a chance when you are in the mood for tex-mex.

Did not like it :(The food seemed processed and not fresh at all. My wife loves Queso, but this tasted like Velvita. I am an enchilada fan, but big stike out here. We will go somewhere else next time.(I should add that the server was nice.)

Sticky table tops, pesky flies, room temperature food-all inside this location! I was not impressed with my visit here.(I wasn’t expecting anything near the quality of Chimichanga, just some simple dinner.) When we first sat down my arms were sticking to the table top. Eeww! Then there were the flies that kept landing all over the table. Double Eeww! Our server sat a metal rack down to protect the table because I ordered one of those dinners on a skillet. When she brought out our food it wasn’t very hot, not even steamy!(There was no need for the metal rack!) I will not be going back.

I don’t mind going here at all. Is the food great? No. Is it quick and«A-OK?» Yes! Are the Margarita’s tasty? Absolutely! Fun place for a happy hour with some chips and salsa. I do wish that they had a patio, but some Des Peres law prohibits it for some reason(at least that’s what they said when I asked). Service is good and it’s a fun place to be.

Think Americanized Mexican food. The food is enjoyable and the atmosphere good for any occasion with company of any age. I loved the margaritas! Mostly because there are a variety of unique flavors so you can try something you’ve never had before. I had a Pina Colada… which no surprise tasted just like Pina Colada. The big surprise was actually the size. A regular is huge and I can only imagine the grande is enormous. I would definitely go back for another margarita because where else will you find melon, banana or pineapple flavored margaritas at a decent restaurant? The food was Americanized but it was fresh and presented well. I would definitely go back again if I’m in the area and in the mood for«Mexicamerican».

Casa’s has consistently good food, and a great happy hour. I usually order either a chicken burrito or the chicken Guadalajara, which are both terrific. I love their corn cakes(my friend is obsessed with them and always orders an extra side). I haven’t had it in a while, but their fried ice-cream is especially yummy if you’re in for dessert. The service is also consistently fast and pleasant. They also offer punch cards now; I think it’s buy 5 entrees, get one free. I’m still trying to make it sometime for their brunch on Sundays.

Grande Margaritas. How yummy! And you can even get them flavored… strawberry, banana and the list goes on. Recently I had a banana margarita and it was pretty tasty. To be sure, I may have to go back and have a few more. I ordered the tableside guac and the server pretty much didn’t know the difference between chunky and throwing the avocados in the bowl!(So I took a star off for that.) She was training another server and I hope and pray that she knows the difference and doesn’t just make the chunky guac like our server did! Yikes… Other than the guac„ the service was good. The staff was attentive and the food was excellent.
