Love Billies bistro! Food is fantastic! Batenders are full of personality and the owner Billie is bubbly and super sweet. Service is graleat! This is a non smoking establishment since May 2015 and does not have a trace of smell.

complete waste of time. blt had about 3 strips of bacon and they didn’t even ask how customers wanted their steak cooked. no one asked how our meal was. in fact, the service was so bad, we had to almost beg for our check. not once were we offered a drink refill. unless you’re on your 50s and want to flirt with the bartender, there’s no point in going. never, ever going again.

The food here is great! I can’t believe reading other reviews of people saying the food is bland as we have tried quite a few dishes & have never received anything close to bland. The staff is very friendly & attentive to your needs & they have great specials at happy hour! I’m definately going back!

Well I can’t believe I turned around to eat here. The only plus as I walked in bar was separate from restaurant so smoking was allowed. It gave me the feeling like a niebourhood bar. Not very impressive on the menu nothing seemed to stand out as this is only availible here. Well I decided on wings and the «new» shrimp poppers in big bold red ink well they don’t carry the new shrimp poppers their working on a new menu guess it’s not important or doesn’t matter to them so I justed settled on the wings. Which I come to find out they were small almost all drummies and only 3 flats/​wings. If your lookin for a mediocre experience this place is for you

We wanted to try something new and this place sounded nice, but boy we were WRONG!
1. We walked in a was BLASTED WITH such strong smoke. Then got to table STILL REEKED of smoked. The bar is closed in for smokers. REALLY? b/​c we sat in the bistro part and was gagging on such odor.
2. The food was absolute terror! Boyfriend got the sirloin steak and what appeared to be a THAWED OUT half of a twice backed potato. ½ yes ½. His veggies looked like WEST PAC veggie frozen in the store. It only gets «better from here.»
MY ORDER was fettuccini with chicken. It was NOT white but kinda off white biege in color. SO WATERED DOWN THAT I COULD BARELY pick it up with my fork. THERE WAS NO TASTE AT ALL! Seriously thought it was SCHNUCKS LABEL thrown in a pot. I T WAS DEPLORABLE! I SENT IT BACK! after i tried 5 minutes to get it to stay on my fork without it sliding off…
I got a pizza instead. MY FAV FOOD. Yep they even messed that up. i told them EXTRA SAUCE. THAT PIZZA WAS SO DRY i almost chocked. HORRIFIC!
FINAllly took most of the dried out horrific pizza home for others to try JUST TO SEE IF IT WAS JUST ME… nope they tried and THREW IT AWAY!
Waitress was nice reall nice!
I TOTALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. waste of time and m oney! I forgot it was a Saturday night 8pm and the restaurant HAD NOBODY IN IT EXCEPT US! Really?

Oh my! Delicisioso steak sandwich! Worth the $$ the sirloin will practically in your mouth. Well compared to other steak sandwiches I’ve had. People are friendly.

This place is awful!!! HORRIBLE food! Horrible service! They allow smoking in the bar area which is awful when trying to eat dinner. A lot of old people. The food tastes like cardboard… all of the appetizer’s tasted freezer burnt! And «Billie» is this old 70+ year old woman who thinks she is 25. She wears very inappropriate clothing. Very low cut shirts… no one wants to see that! I will never go back here!

Found this place by accident. It was ok. Food was nothing special. Service was good! Waitress was on top of everything but I would sure hope so since we were the only people in there at lunch time.

We really miss Charly working here. She was the best!!! The place has not been the same without her. Food is good so try it out. 5 stars if Charly was working!!!

I stopped here on a Thu night. There was all of three tables occupied in the restaurant part. I did not notice the cigarette smoke smell at first. near the end of m meal, when more people were walking in and out of bar area, it did seem like the smell got worse.
I ordered the 10oz sirloin. The meal came with a side salad, and choice of twice baked potato or mashed potato, and vegetable medley.
The salad was just OK. It consisted of lettuce, cheese, pimento, and artichoke. Good thing I really don’t care for artichokes. there was just one lonely piece.
The steak was just as I expected for $ 14. As, I am not a fan of squash, i opted out of the vegetable medley. I did get the mushrooms on my steak. I really like the twice baked potato. The steak itself was not bad. It was a thicker cut and seemed like it was a bit overdone on the outside, and a bit underdone in the middle. The herb butter was frozen and did not melt the whole time i was eating.
overall, the food was OK. the service was OK. I would return if i remember them.

Just recently found this local south county restaurant/​bar and had a pretty good experience. I had an 8 oz. top sirloin special that tasted very good and was reasonably priced. Service was prompt, but it wasn’t very crowded. Only two other tables were being served. The décor isn’t very fancy but everything else was good enough for me to come back and try them again. I had two other people with me and they enjoyed their meals as well.
Some other posts mentioned the smell of cigarettes from the bar, it was barely noticeable when I went and the bar had a lot of people in it. I did eat early so it may get worse later in the evening.

My mom and I tried Billie’s because it is local. The wine was overpriced, the food was bland, and the atmosphere was terrible. The bar was packed with chainsmokers, and it is situated in the middle of the restaurant. Despite requesting non-​smoking, we were seated in a booth near the bar and the smell of smoke ruined the meal for me. The tacky decorations were kind of gross too, but I’m willing to let that slide. I ordered a grilled chicken dinner and it was flavorless and slightly dry. The service was just okay. They appeared to have some decent drink specials that I’d be willing to try, but I doubt I’ll go back because of the smokey bar and the yuck-​o appearance.
