This place is one of our Favorites! We are St Louisians and cannot get enough of this Place. The Duck Confit Fettuccini is Spectacular. Bön Appetite!

Awful! heard this was one of the best restaurants in St. Louis and naught! The cannelloni is fair and the Veal Chop with Eggplant tasted like bad pizza. Their signature dish of linguine with Lobster and Shrimp had no flavor. Joe took care of us we ordered all the dishes he raved about and none were good.

How do you try fancy food on a small budget? Why you go to the bar of that restaurant and order from their menu. The food still comes out of the infamous Tony’s kitchen, but it comes out with fewer dollar signs. Deal! The bar menu is limited, but you can still order off the full menu of Tony’s if you like. I had the pork chop with tomatoes, mushrooms, and potatoes. It was a huge protein portion, and I was definitely sated. The meal was good – it didn’t knock my socks off – but it was good. For the price($ 20) I was quite happy. The atmosphere is a nice change up. It is a small bar in the lobby of a downtown office. It felt kind of like a throw back for me, with it’s full round bar, dressed up bartender, etc. I just pretended I was in Mad Men for a minute, until I got distracted by the tv. I would definitely recommend the place if you’re looking for a casual but good bite to eat from the same kitchen that has many accolades for their food. It’s not as fancy as Tony’s of course, but it’s still high quality and delicious stuff.

What an incredible little hideaway. I sat at the bar with company and watched the game last night. The service was perfect and the meal was fantastic. I can’t believe I never knew of this place. I will go back again and again.

Definitely one of the best meals I have had in St. Louis. First of all, the place clearly proclaims that it is a bar. it is a bar in the center of the room with some tables around the perimeter of the room But it is a bar with fabulous food, because all the food is cooked in Tony’s kitchen. The servers act as both bartenders and waiters, and it is intriguing to watch them work the room. It is old world service, without the stuffiness of Tony’s. My dinner: a wonderful tomato and watermelon salad, ziti with rock shrimp, chocolate coconut tart. All of it superb. Note that the place is inside the United Missouri Bank Building. You enter from the lobby, not from the outside.

Underwhelming at best. No atmosphere, no drink list, bartender acted as if we were bothering him after being directed from Tony’s due to a back up on our reservation. It felt as if we had been sent the principal’s office. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop!

The brown butter almond tart with praline ice cream is superb! Excellent bar staff and a friendly environment. I came later in the evening and almost had the place to myself… I can imagine it does quite well after work.

This is a great quiet place to eat very 1960’s business style. You can have the food of Tony’s or eat off the bar menu. I had the Risotto which was excellent. Other people at the table had the special, linguine with shrimp and lobster, and strip steak. Everyone loved their meals. Of course the service here is fantastic. They are not overbearing but attentive as well.

Haven’t been there since 1990, but if Mike B. is still working there I’d go back in heartbeat if I was in town. His brother Joe(RIP, buddy) was my best friend. Joe and I(and company…) would always stop by pre and post Cardinal games and it was always a great time with great service! If you’re reading this Mike, good luck and God Bless! I miss ya!!! Bob

This is the best kept secret in St. Louis. Tony’s food, Tony’s service at a reasonable price. I go after every ball game I go to. Would you rather have two $ 8.00 beers at the game or a housemade pasta with fresh parm and Italian sausage. Easy decision. Also a great date place. Remember Tony’s food for under 20 bucks. Cannot be beat.

I suppose if you want to pay for Tony’s-quality food and don’t feel like dressing up, this would be the place to go. However, why would you want to pay $ 50+/person + alcohol and not get gussied up? We went on a Saturday night with a group of friends to celebrate 3 joint birthdays but were quite disappointed in our choice. Since it’s 1 bartender that serviced the entire restuarant + bartending, the service was mediocre at best, and the guy just came off as snooty. There’s no other way to put it. While it did bear some elegance, the space was very small and cramped, and the a/c did not do the place(nor us) justice. AND, you cannot get zabaione from Tony’s, so what’s the point, right? If you’re going to splurge, might as well just go to Tony’s. If not, then don’t bother.

Anthony’s and Tony’s go hand in hand. Anthony’s is multi-star world-class Tony’s Restaurant for lunch! I love Tony’s and I love this joint as well! If you’re gonna carp about the price just don’t go… this is a real businessman’s place… and there’s no crying at lunch. Leave the drama for your momma. Sure, it can be a businesswoman’s place too, although it is NYC masculine type décor. You have to sit at the bar and let Mike take care of you to really see what it’s all about. Perfect for the solo diner. No nonsense, yet totally professional Mike. He doesn’t need to know your name or anything about you. But, he welcomes and appreciates your business all the same. A fresh tossed green salad, a bowl of chips to tide you over until your lunch arrives and the best damn blue cheeseburger on the continent. Or, try some of the pasta… straight from Tony’s kitchen. The Bommarito family of restauranteurs permeates this place. First rate, top shelf… outstanding! That’s what I’m talkin’ bout’! Tony’s for lunch… the best of the best! And, the dinner fare ain’t so bad either. You know what I’m sayin?!

A great business lunch spot that also works well as a more casual, but fine dining restaurant. Features some great flavorful sandwiches and entres. The whole restaurant wraps around a massive bar and is fairly small. Old-school service can be quite charming. It’s a special place where local business leaders and celebrities come to grab a quick, easy lunch that feels like a the grill at a country club. You can often order from the full Tony’s menu, which is an amazing treat if you are a bit more casual – but want amazing food. Great spot! While the share a kitchen, it’s hard to compare Tony’s and Anthony’s. Tony’s is absolutely first-class fine dining and Anthony’s is a casual and much more low-key bar setting. Anthony’s is good for small groups 2−4−6, no kids. Great place to eat alone at the bar too – especially for lunch. A really unique spot in St. Louis. Location is right by the Arch in a newer office building. A gem!

I wanted to treat my niece to something nice before she left to go back to college on full scholarship. I took her here because they use the same kitchen as Tony’s. We arrived at 2 and got seated fairly quickly by the window. The place is small square around a square bar. The table was maybe two foot square, tiny. The water glass was maybe 6 oz while my tea glass was 8 oz(how cute). The waiter could not keep my tea from emptying and did not listen when I asked for a second glass. My niece ordered the special(salad and soup) and I order a beef dish. The salad came on about 6 inch plate, tiny. The soup was about 10 oz. My beef dish was tiny with no salad. The light lunch for two cost over 40 bucks with tip. Why 3 stars? The food was almost like dessert. The beef was so tender. My niece really liked her food. Plus, while there I saw a guy eating in «nice» T-shirt and shorts. If I ever go back, I am wearing that, sitting at the bar for better drink service and enjoying a light meal from Tony’s kitchen for about $ 20 surrounded by suits.

Very disappointing, considering they share the kitchen of Tony’s, which is supposed to be the finest dining in town. After visiting Anthony’s, I’m not inclined to bother testing that reputation.
