I have been going to the fish fry, that they have every summer since I was 7 years old. They serve some of the best fish in town. And last few years that have adf catfish to the menu

The legion’s fish fry is quite simply the best. It typically runs from the end of March until labor day and is outside.
Nothing fancy and it can be BYOB if cheap draws are too much for you.
The cod fish they serve here is unparalleled from anywhere I’ve been around St. Louis. Very fresh and hot. They serve fast enough here that they pour through it quick.
They lack a few of the typical fish fry sides I’ve seen: green beans and macaroni and cheese but they have pretty good spaghetti and french fries.
But let’s be honest. If you’re going to a fish fry, you’re going for FISH. You won’t be disappointed here and you’ll get to enjoy sitting outside at the same time.
Bring a group and a cooler and good times will ensue.
