ABC Trading & Wholesale

I like these accessory stores. I always find something different.
On my visit to ABC Trading back in September, I purchased a black purse that is large enough to hold all of my winter purse contents (this can include thick mittens and a scarf) as well as full-​sized hardback novels and a sort of fleece wrap that I’ve worn a few times and about which I’ve received so many compliments.
The purse is starting to crack in one area, but it was only $ 35 or so and that’s what I tend to expect when I buy an item from an accessory/​trading company.
I’ve seen better prices, but not better selection.

My go-​to costume jewelry haberdashery!
By now you’ve figured out I am a bodybuilder of some sort. Therefore I compete. When competing I get all tan & shiny & glam’d up like a walking bedazzled human specimen.
ABC is where I go to find all my CZ diamonds, trinkets and stones. They have EVERYTHING in this building. Packed wall to wall with earrings, necklaces, bracelets, shoes, purses, scarves, wallets, wristlets, watches, hats, brioches, rings, nose rings, toe rings, belly-​button rings, sunglasses, head adornments, you name it. Whether you’re prepping for prom, a wedding, bar mitzvah or competition ABC is literally a 1 stop shop ladies.
Staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. Don’t be shy they answer any and all questions.

I stop by A, B, C Trading Co. when in need of cheap, disposable sunglasses.
These sunglasses are awesome because:
…if they break– who cares,
…if I sit on them in my car– who cares,
…if they fly off the top of my head while boating– WOOHOO
The sunglasses have gone up to $ 4.99 a pair. I can remember when they were $ 2.99 a pair. Still better price wise than I can do at Macy’s or Kohl’s with a coupon. There are two spinning racks with sunglasses and mirrors in the front of the store. There is also an entire isle of sunglasses– find this isle. There are classic styles, designer knock-​off styles, and styles with lots and lots of personality.
The sunglasses say UV400.

This store is amazing! I ventured in one day over the summer because I overheard some co-​workers talking about it. I assume most girls have have a ton of costume jewelry and so I don’t feel bad saying that my collection has grown thanks to ABC. One can never own enough earrings, necklaces, or rings. In fact, I actually am most excited about the purchase of my «pearls»! I found a collection of pearl like earrings in every color for only about $ 3! Best purchase by far! I always have earrings for every-​day use.
Be prepared to spend about an hour or so in this store as the aisles all have a ton of interesting pieces. Whether you need jewelry, scarves, luggage, or a purse, or etc… this is the store for you! You will not be disappointed.
They carry everything from simple pieces to elegant necklaces and tiaras for weddings, proms, formals, etc. I found a gorgeous necklace that I would have loved to wear to my prom; to bad it was many years ago.
ABC is a great store and now that I am thinking about it again I need to go back. It’s time to purchase some winter pieces for my collection. If anyone wants to plan another day trip let me know and I will be there!

The place is organized by the categories listed above, which makes it very easy to find what you need. What you want. What you could honestly do without but just can’t help yourself.
I got a really beautiful jewelry/​hair accessory/​clutch ensemble for a wedding I went to. It looked fabulous and didn’t break the bank at all. Most of the jewelry pieces were under $ 5.
I get compliments on things I’ve gotten from ABC all the time, and I am thrilled to share where I got them and how much I paid. Or didn’t pay. =]
If you enjoy fashionable jewelry and accessories but don’t feel like you need to get expensive shit to look good, then this is the place for you. I love it!

Wow is this place effin’ awesome! Ladies… and I guess gents too if you run that way… if you love jewelry, scarves and purses you must, must, must get yourself to ABC Trading. Set aside about 3 hours so you can really dig in and look at it all and of course bring a friend.
I am a jewelry maker and hoarder :) I love cool beaded stuff. I love silver stuff. I love colored glass and rhinestones. I love purple anything. When I crossed the threshold it was as if the clouds parted, a golden light bathed the well lit, heavily laden but organized aisles and angels began to sing a chorus of «Buy Buy Buy». And my poor little heart rejoiced.
Whatever your ‘look’ is, they have the jewelry for you. In the back they have a section of nothing but sterling silver but I was afraid to go back there so close to Christmas. Post holiday with some extra cash in my hand? Oh yes I will be there pawing through that enormous wall of silvery joy.
If you need stocking stuffers, office gifts, secret santa gifts, mother in law gifts… go now! You will save so much time and money and as a reward you should buy something for me too! :)

1. I’m no longer the weirdo 20-​something elbowing my way through throngs of 8 year olds at Claire’s
2. I no longer have to lie and tell people I can’t remember where I got my jewelry when I know damn well I got it at Wal-​mart
3. I no longer have to think of fake excuses why I can’t go to your Lia Sophia party
4. I still own cheap crappy jewelry, but at least my cheap crappy jewelry looks cool, was actually cheap, and was purchased from really really nice people. Also, I don’t end up showing up in public wearing the same earrings as a pre-​teen who is always wearing a Justin Bieber t-​shirt.

I made my annual trek to ABC Trading Co to fill my jewelry drawer with inexpensive goodies and as usual, was overwhelmed when I walked in. There’s just so much to look at.
They carry walls and walls and walls of costume jewelry, luggage, purses, sunglasses, scarves, hair pieces, purse hooks and a treasure trough of low cost specialty items for ladies.
Prices range from $ 2-​$ 40. Most items are under $ 10. No exchanges or returns. Amkor Trading Co is a few blocks away and is similar. There is another, slightly larger ABC Trading Co store near Chesterfield Mall, but I prefer this one.

This place has some really cool stuff. If you are looking for random pieces to jazz up your wardrobe a bit and you don’t want anything cheap and cheesy from a place like say, claire’s…this is the place to go.
They have everything. I especially love their jewelry selection. I have gotten some really awesome earring as this store and every time I wear them, I always get nothing but compliments. Also, they have a great selection of handbags. They are all very original and not like anything you would pick up at say a Target or a Macy’s. I just love the accessories.
Randomly, they carry a lot of belly dancing type clothing, so if you are into this sort of thing (or you are shopping for a Halloween Costume) this is best place to go. The prices are good, the quality is mediocre, and the selection is awesome.
I just love this store. I just wish they had one in South County.
