The only thing this place has going for it is the convenient factor, surrounded by so many apartments. Many of the products on the shelves are expired, including the fountain soda – check the dates on packaged items before buying! The store is filthy. The owner has been witnessed manhandling someone he accused of stealing candy that store didn’t even carry and taking used soda fountain cups out of the trash, rinsing them out, and putting them back to be used again.

Close by so it’s convenient… The guys that work there are just kind of blah… The place never looks clean.

Ideally located near the Pavilion and Bennington Heights Apartments this place saves me from having to run down to Dorsett Schnucks and Walgreens for supplies. Open 24hrs and stocked with all your basic essentials. Very nice group of people working here too. Always nice to everyone in the store even when unexpectedly busy in the middle of the night. Always has my business!

Slurpees and energy drinks! I was walking around my neighborhood, when I saw it. I saw a 7-Eleven, and it was calling to me! I just had to go in and have a Slurpee! I hadn’t had one in so long, and it brought me back many memories. The prices on Slurpees have gone up a bit, but inflation and the times, I can understand. I still remembered the good old trick: put the lid on first and then fill it on up to the top! You get a lot of extra slurpage that way! I ended up mixing blueberry flavor with some grape and a cherry lemonade flavor. It was refreshing and nostalgic. I’d give this 7-Eleven four stars if it weren’t for the nasty hot dog thingies they have rollin’ on those heated roller/cooker things. Hot dogs are already a mystery meat… So it’s definitely not good when there’s a mystery behind whether something is a hot dog or not… Thank Heaven for 7-Eleven? Maybe on those days you want to go and remember what it was like to be a kid again. At least that’s what does it for me.
