I was at a wedding reception that this guy DJ’d for. The party consisted of a younger couple and their friends, but both had big extended families, so there were lots of older relatives in the crowd, too. He did a good job of mixing it up enough to keep everybody pretty happy. I was struck by the fact that he seemed to have a pretty wide selection of music styles. I’m not sure which songs were his choices and which were the couple’s, but it seemed like he could adapt to anything and keep things moving.
