Nice place for a weekend trip. Donuts to die for. Perfect match of crispy on the outside with cinnamon and soft and fluffy on the inside. Great cider!!!

Phillip’s Orchards is amazing from the great customer service to the delicious cider slushies and cinnamon doughnuts. Phillips is much less expensive and tastes better than U.J.s(Uncle Johns). If you hate swarms and swarms of people or you are just impatient Phillips is much less busy. The only downside is that they don’t have any activities for the little ones but don’t judge a book by its cover because Philips is great!

Awesome place. Cider and donuts are delicious and nicely priced. Everyone is really nice, plus it’s not nearly as packed as uncle johns orchard down the street.

Excellent cider, and the donuts are delicious. I also tried the hot spice cider, which was good. This is a smaller non-commercialized place. Not crowded and friendly staff. The fresh baked pies smelled wonderful, I will be back to try one of those. Highly recommended

They have an excellent selection homegrown apples.(The golden delicious are in excellent form this year.) Their cider is not pasteurized and well-flavored. I love it cold and icy or heated up with cinnamon, nutmeg, and a shot of … almond extract, or maybe whisky. Their donuts are great, Michigan-style cider mill donuts. They taste at least as good as they smell. Phillips also carriers a well-curated variety of local and Michigan made products. We have purchased jam, drinking vinegars, soybean oil in our last several visits. They also carry a good mix of fresh baked goods, which we have not tried — yet. This is my FAVORITE hometown cider mill. If you are tempted by the gimmicks and signage of another one close by, consider that this one is not a tourist trap. You can get in and out quickly and with some cash left in your wallet.

This is a locals kind of place. And if you’re lucky enough to know a local, they’ll send you this way. To most of us, it’s known as the cider mill across the road from uncle johns. Greg and Brian are just terrific people and they’ve treated me kindly every time I stop in. The cider and donuts are FAR superior to that of Uncle Johns. They have horse rides and pumpkins. They sell a bunch of Michigan crafted products. It’s totally a down home place, not gimmicky or touristy. Love it!
