It should never be time for TacoTime. This food is nasty. The guy at the register couldn’t even name one thing he liked.

Okay… this is a childhood memory… I grew up on Taco Time… It is Utah’s Taco Bell in the 70’s… I have amazing memories as a child eating those incredible enchiladas, and the rolled burritos… no other taste like these… Is it the best and most authentic mexican food… NO… I am very bias, these are of course my childhood memories! BUT, if you have a choice of cheap mexican fast food??? This is the one I will pick!!! Real meat, twice as much in the tacos as any other fast food place! I love it! EVERYTIME I go through St. George, I will stop at TACOTIME!!!

Why no other fast food Mexican spots sell a crispy bean burrito is a mystery, we go out of our ways to dine here whenever we are in town. Are the folks at Kahala interested in reopening some of these back in Phoenix?

Crispy bean burritos! This is an American-ized Mexican fast food chain. Keep that in mind. Clean, fast, and cheap for those road trippers. I’ve been doing Taco Time since I was a kid and now I always take my kids here on the way«back home.»

I dont really get it… its a burrito in my eyes. I ordered 2 chicken«tacos» because I had no idea… they were like $ 3.50 a piece… really? that’s nuts. I get my «tacos» they are burritos… I took them up to the counter and asked and the guy said, «yeah, you got 2 tacos» WTF!!! the chicken was decent,(couldn’t eat both) and the hot sauce was good… if it were a «burrito time» it would have made more sense… I will stick to Del Taco :)

This was the first taco time that I have been to in a long while because Vegas has one but it is clear out in east nowhere. So being in St. George there are several locations. This location was very clean and the inside looked like it had been an authentic mexican restaurant. It was very nice and the staff were very friendly and brought us our food. I was very impressed.

Taco Time is great. I grew up in northern Utah and it was always a favorite. I moved to northern Colorado where there is not even one Taco Time(I think there is one on the westerns slope) but whenever I went back to Utah I would stop and get the crispy meat burrito. Then I noticed a few pop up across Wyoming so when I would drive back to Utah across I80 in Wyoming we(by now I had three kids) would always stop. Now my kids, who are now adults, are Taco Time fans and we always have to go when they come visit me now that I’m back in Utah were there are plenty of Taco Time’s. Great place.

This was the first Taco Time I have ever been to. Even though it may not have that down home family tradition of recipes and such like the non chain restaurants, this one is pretty good. The food here is a lot more fresher and tastes better that you other fast food taco places(namely Taco Bell and Taco Johns) so it is worth going to if you go by one. I don’t know if they have locations in CA but they are in Utah and south western Wyoming starting around the Rock Springs and Green River area. Perhaps some parts of CO too but don’t quote me on that.

Me and my buddy were driving back to LA after a 3-day long backpacking trip and he was telling me that we needed to stop at Taco Time. A fast food joint that I’ve never been to? «Bring it» I say. I was satisfied. It was like an amped up Taco Bell. I got the Big Juan(haha) Burrito and it was damn fine. I also got some Mexi Fries. DUDES! They are TATORTOTS. I was expecting some spice or Mexi-flav infusion but they were just plain old tots. Not that that’s bad. I always likes me the tots. They best thing here is the sauce bar. 7 – 8 different sauces from reds to greens to creamy ranch type stuff. I would love to have these sauces everywhere. Sure, super Americanized Mexican food, but if you’re looking for good Americanized Mexican food, you can’t go wrong here.

Gee, what can I say about this place other than it is a chain, and you will see lots of them from here north to Logan Utah. Quick service for fast mexican-american food. Tacos burritos and other so called Mexican food that has been Americanized. Easy in and easy out and if you are really in a hurry, do the drive through! The inside seems clean and décor has been upgraded. Employees seem eager to assist you in getting your food to you as fast as you can. So, for a cheap refueling while doing that road trip along the I-15 interstate, this a a quick jump off of the highway and right back on.
