Nacho Mama

I have seen the Nacho Mama truck around town and ta different events. Problem is they are usually at the end of the other food trucks, so I am full by the time I get down to where they are. I made a point the last couple times to stop by and they were sold out of tacos and had only had «Cheesy Nachos» available. The cheesy nachos were $ 2.50 and a decent amount of chips. The chips were a tad on the salty side, but I did like the nacho sauce and there was a good amount of it that seeped under the chips for more scooping. It was a nice snack and I hope to try some of the other menu items another time to get a better taste of what’s offered here. You can follow them on social media and can usually find them at the Food Truck Roundup every Monday in the Ace Hardware parking lot on Bluff St.

I got some cheesy nachos from this truck. A lot of the chips were a bit too heavy with salt but the cheese sauce had a nice mild spiciness that tasted good. It was a good amount of chips and cheese for just over a couple bucks. They have tacos also and if you want more than just chips and cheese then tell them you want your nachos «loaded» and it will come with meat and other stuff. Sodas and bottled water were a buck each and ice cold which is always nice. I will watch for this truck again but next time I will ask for easy salt on the chips. They also have a rewards card so don’t forget to ask for that.
