Best steak of my life… I kid you not! The chef is from Argentina and they know their meat. Get the rib eye medium rare… you will not regret it!(You should ask for the milanesa too, it’s not on the menu but call in advance and he said he will make it)

This is probably the best restaurant in St. George. The setting is awesome – lots of art on the walls – high ceilings – very European. We had the chicken gorgonzola, which was creamy & flavorful, with a very nice, reasonably priced Malbec. The salad dressings were very good; I think they make their own. The service is fabulous & fun. I rated it only a 4 because the food & wine are fabulous; however, they serve icky rolls that remind me of grocery store rolls. Non-flavorful, boring, airy, white bread rolls. They take all the time to make a big deal about their awewome garlic butter – only to be ruined by the rolls. To me, that is the downfall of most good restaurants. Great food ruined by crappy rolls. Anyway, I didn’t eat the rolls, but ate everything else in site. Great, great food! But someone needs to tell them about the rolls.. .. sorry, I get hung up on that. I think this is my favorite restaurant in this area & I would love to give them 5 stars & hopefully, some day I can.

Okay service. Very loud and difficult to carry on conversations. Food was okay but nothing to get excited about.

This is the 2nd time there — not a great place for our taste. I heard they had a good ribeye but when I went for lunch, they said it was only for dinner. I don’t understand logistics of restaurants so whatever. The food was just ok. The meatballs were just ok. The first time was a disaster(probably wondering why I came back…). They didn’t have the ingredients to do our meals correctly. Salads were lame. And they ran out of bread? Weird. But because of word of mouth and reviews, I went back. But I doubt I will for a third time.

Dropped in by accident and found a real gem! The sea bass wrapped in prosciutto was OUTOFTHISWORLD. We also had the asparagus soup, chicken Gorgonzola atop creamy penne pasta was spectacular. Atmosphere was warm and cozy. Would definitely come back again… and again!

A group of six just arriving into St. George on Wednesday, October 21 from CA/VT. The service was friendly and we did not make a reservation. The flat iron steak was tender and the lasagna was delicious, with chunks of meat and just the right amount of sauce! No complaints even from the most critical diner in our group! The reason why I am not giving it 5 stars is that I found the extra charge of $ 4, which was not quoted to us when ordering, switching from a cold salad to a hot soup that normally came with the entrée, was a «surprise» and high. I like the fact that they make their dishes from scratch. We will return to this nice, little Italian restaurant when we are in the area again!

YUM!!! Boyfriend and I enjoyed dinner at this gem this evening, and oh man, what a treat!!! He ordered the special(prosciutto wrapped scallops, mouth watering) and I ordered the chicken gorgonzola(sooo rich) I have read a couple reviews complaining about the wait, but there is a disclaimer on the menu explaining that everything is made to order, just enjoy the atmosphere and the DELICIOUS food. Will definitely be going back!

Good service, and darn tasty food. Not the best italian I’ve ever had, but well worth a visit.

I came here for dinner with a group of friends and we all enjoyed our meals(especially that dill butter with their rolls) but we were seriously starving by the time we finally got our entrees. They give you fair warning about the wait time, but we were probably here for two hours. I would come back though even if only for the dill butter.

Their food is great. Which is why this rating isn’t lower. I love their food. Everything is amazing and delicious(especially the empanadas). However, their service is inconsistent. Sometimes they are amazing and sometimes they aren’t. It would mostly be okay, but when they are bad, they are TERRIBLE. We had a party here for my friend with a group of 7, and it took us at least two(possibly 3) hours to finish the meal. We waited at least 45 mins to get our order in, and then it took at least another hour for us to get our food. By the time we got our check, the entire group was SODONE. Not to mention that the wait staff wasn’t even penitent about the wait or the lateness of the food. The reservation was called in and they were very slow, so I don’t understand why it took them so long. I have been back only once or twice since, and the service has been better, so maybe it was a REALLY bad day. :/

I had a little bit higher expectations. In the end it seems a little overpriced for just ok tasting food.

A thoroughly enjoyable dinner last night. The food was excellent, my girlfriend had the Sea Bass special and I had the pork loin special. the talent of the chef far outweighs the orices. The atmosphere is casual and our server Jamie was on top of her game. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for Italian.

I love local Italian restaurants. This one is very good with great service. We had the Sea Bass special and the beef chimi churi special with a caprese bruschetta. The portions were very large. The fish was cooked perfectly and went well with the pasta. The beef was also cooked to order and seasoned well. Only nitpick was the caprese, would have preferred an option not on bread but the balsamic was great. Would return again.

Finally made it to this restaurant after hearing about it for a couple of years. We went for lunch and the lunch prices were right in line with other restaurants and ended up ordering something off the dinner menu. Very nice of them to go out of there way to make something that wasn’t normally offered for lunch. The Chicken Gorgonzola was awesome and the serving was huge!(Guess I will be having it for lunch again tomorrow) Will defiantly make this a more often lunch location now that I have tried it, can’t wait to try some of the other things on the menu.

I absolutely loved this place!!! Their Gnocchi is an absolute A+. The empanadas are nothing short of perfect. I have not had such good empanadas since I lived in South America. I have traveled the world and this place is one of the best family ran restaurants that I’ve been to. Also, I love the slow European pace, absolutely no rush!!! This place is fantastic!

I wanted to try something new. Not being from the area, Unilocal lead me here. The place wasn’t very busy. It was around 4pm on a Thursday night, but we were asked to wait to be seated. My impatience was growing. After about 10 mins, we were finally seated. I browsed through the menu, and noticed that they didn’t have as big of a spread as I assumed. But usually, smaller menus means that the restaurant takes great pride and effort into their dishes. Once I saw lasagna on the menu, my heart was set. Since I was really famished, I added a cup of French onion soup to my order. It took about 25 minutes for the soup to arrive. It was very bland. Lasagna, I should have inquired first what meats they use, because I don’t like Italian sausage, and would have preferred ground beef. With the fork in my hand, I dug deep, and noticed that my lasagna was sitting in a pool of water. Their sauce was so watery along with the drippings from the Italian sausage. The lasagna was by far, worse than a grocery store frozen lasagna. They should change the menu to «lasagna soup.» Oh, and to top it all off, the lasagna was incredibly bland. Would I come back? No way!

The staff here were extremely friendly and accommodating to our large party. I really enjoyed the house dressing on the salad. Ordered the flat iron steak and it was phenomenal. The steak was cooked to perfection and presented lovely. Will definitely stop back in and recommend this spot to friends and family. Enjoy!

This place was fine… The food was good but not really amazing. I did love the Gorgonzola salad dressing. I would probably come back if I lived here… But since I live in Arizona if I find myself in the area again I would try something else before coming here.

Pretty good. Especially for a small town restaurant. The crab ravioli was good. Wish they hadn’t added the parm, tho. And the seabass was outstanding, However the risotto was not cooked to order. We will come back next time we pass thru

I was really craving pasta after a 7 hour day of canyoneering so we came here. It’s a random menu, sort of a mix of «new american,» italian, and argentinian food.(empanadas, what?) The service was great, in fact there were almost too many servers and water people on the floor… more servers/bussers than tables occupied. We were told the pasta and rolls were home made, however they were definitely not. And the chicken was frozen. All in all, it was ok food and the service was all right(if overly solicitous). The prices were midrange, not inexpensive.
