Let me first start off by saying I’ve not been much of a fan of Vietnamese food… but since becoming Vegan, I’m trying new things. When on a business trip with a friend, Ah’sya did not disappoint and has made me seek out a similar dish to what I experienced here… still Ive found none sadly. The place is small and unassuming. The menu didn’t excite me as there was so much meat. BUT one of the people I was with suggested I try the veggie curry soup, she was also vegan. SO glad I listened… now, I was really hungry so the idea of soup seemed so trivial… I felt like it wouldn’t be enough… I was wrong! It was filled with delicious curry broth of just the right #3 temperature(They have 1 – 5 with 5 being the hottest), I like it flavorful with a good kick of spice, it had tons of noodles, I opted out of the corn which was likely GMO, with delicious chunks of potato, celery and carrot, peas, bok choy and green onion… I’m not a big fan of celery but it worked in this soup. Try the V5 Vegetable Curry Vermicelli Soup… you may be as hooked as me! If I ever find myself in St George again, I’ll definitely be stopping by! And Tom, the owner is super nice, for the record!!!

I was craving phở for a while and I was so happy to see that there is a Vietnamese restaurant that serves really good Phở! I’ve been back twice in the past week. So good! The price is awesome too. Although the atmosphere in the restaurant might not be what you expect a Vietnamese restaurant to be like, it’s so worth it!

What great find this little retauranut was. Visiting from Florida and didn’t expect to find any decent Vietnamese food in St George, but boy was I surprised. We started with the shrimp spring rolls which were very fresh and served with peanut dipping sauce. The sauce had good flavor and aside from the asking price($ 6.50) everything was great about this app. We then moved onto to order a bowl of phở to share and I am glad that we did. The serving size was huge and everything was very flavorful. I’ve eaten a lot of phở in Florida and wasn’t expecting much here but was pleasantly surprised. Lastly we had a glass of Thai iced tea to finish the meal up and that was just as good as the rest of the meal. Would recommend this place to anyone. Food 4.5÷5 Price 4.5÷5 Atmosphere 3⁄5 Service 5⁄5

It was expensive for Vietnamese coffee. $ 4.00 for a TINY cup. Lemongrass chicken was only ok. Chicken was quite dry. Not liking this place at all.

Decent but not great. Phở broth was not as flavorful as most others but hey, it’s St. George Utah.

We’ve eaten lunch here many times, both in their older Washington location and the newer one on Sunset(closer to us). We’ve had several of their vermicelli noodle /chicken or pork /roll plates, chicken salads, spring rolls, and orange chicken(less doughy than other restraunts’ fare). Prices are comparible. Dining is casual. Staff is pleasant and provide great service.

It’s in a strip mall and doesn’t look like much. We ordered spring rolls, Phở and Bun. The spring rolls were good, not great but I’d order them again. The bun was very good, it could use a little mint to spice it up more. The bun was as good as it gets. According to one it Seattle worthy. She loved it.

The owner is so personable! He walked around the restaurant cracking jokes and talking to each table! The food was fresh and tasty! The veggie phở is made with beef broth but it has plenty flavor and the portions are large! The passion fruit great tea is delightful! And my favorite shrimp spring rolls ever are here!!! Just an all around wonderful experience !!

I came here looking for a lighter meal after a hot hike on Zion. Yes, I’m crazy to get phở on a hot day. Take that into consideration. We ordered the number seven which came with brisket, rib eye, and tendon. The broth was light and very beefy. I’ve had better, but very rarely. The noodles were a little stuck together at the bottom. The side ingredients(bean sprouts, jalapeño, basil) could have been more generous. That and maybe slightly bigger portions would make this review a five star. The chicken vermicelli bowl with egg rolls was also solid. A warning: this is a cold noodle dish topped off with b freshly grilled meat. It’s great for a hot day. Although I had never seen it before, the noodles came with a peanut sauce. So yummy. I wish all Vietnamese vermicelli bowls came like that! The service was also good. Really no complaints on that end. Overall, I’d come back if I lived in St. George or was craving Vietnamese when I was there, but it’s not the place I’d o out of the way for if I came back into town.

Overall, I would give the food 4STARS, and the portion size 2 stars. I ordered the salt and pepper shrimp and it was great… But I totally wasnt full or even close. Maybe it’s because I ordered take out, because every ones plate in the restaurant looked like they had tons of food. I’ll try it again, but only for dine in and then I will get the phở.

This is our favorite restaurant in St. George. I have been eating here since he was over behind Texas Roadhouse and often worried he was not going to make it. Then he moved to Phoenix Plaza and I was thrilled to see how his business took off! Tom always has a smile, is friendly and courteous. I have eaten everything on the menu at one time or another, and have never been disappointed. I also have no favorite because I enjoy every meal so much. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, and see no reason at all that they would not enjoy. My guess about any negative reviews are that they are people who are impossible to satisfy, and we have all met people like that.

I don’t understand why this place is so well rated. The service and the food were just meh. I’m prepared to assume that I got the wrong thing off the menu and that’s why I was so underwhelmed, but… Just so other people don’t make the same mistake as me, I got egg rolls and grilled chicken over noodles. The egg rolls were crispy and hot, but that’s about the only thing I can say about them. The grilled chicken bowl was quite large, but bland. I dunked an entire bowl of sauce into it and was edible. Nothing was bad exactly, but nothing really stood out. That said, I do tend to like a spicier, more flavorful type of Asian cuisine, so perhaps this tastes really good to other people. Didn’t hate it, but didn’t love it. I wouldn’t be angry to go here again, but it’s not really my kind of place.

I ordered the spring rolls and Phở special. The spring rolls were just OK. The skin was a little soggier than I’d like and it only had shrimp, no pork as I’m accustomed to. The phở broth tasted bland and just boring. It wasn’t flavorful at all. The noodles were overcooked making it seemed somewhat of a chore for me to try to finish the bowl so I didn’t. I also got the Vietnamese iced coffee. I don’t want to sound harsh but this was the worst cup of coffee I’d ever had. It was watered down and had no body or aroma. I wanted this to be my new local Vietnamese spot, but I don’t think that’s happening :(

I came here because of the high Unilocal reviews. Boy… were we disappointed. Nothing was good about this place! We ordered the noodle dish with grilled pork and eggrolls that everybody on here suggested along with Bun Bo Hue soup. First of all, let’s start with the noodle dish. I have never in my entire life have this dish served with peanut sauce in it before! And the fish sauce on the side was flavorless. The eggroll in it was not fully cooked either. It was pink centered and soggy. Secondly, I’m Vietnamese, and this Bun Bo Hue dish says nothing Vietnamese. There was no flavor that screams bun bo hue! It was definitely packet flavor, but not the accurate kind. It tasted like those instant MaMa ramen noodle flavor packets. We came on a slower Tuesday with only 2 other tables, but the service was not that great. Overall, I rather them put only dishes they can make than to claim bunch of dishes and can’t deliver them correctly. This was a true disappointment! Shame on them to claim this is Vietnamese food!

Delicious food. The restaurant is clean with newer furnishing. I had the #4, it was very tasty with maybe just a tad much ginger(I think it was ginger) flavor but good none the less. If you like noodle soup bowls this is a good place in southern Utah to get it! The service was good but hard to judge as I was one of two people in the restaurant. Not sure how it is at high traffic times. I will definitely go back.

We loved this place. We only had the Phở and fresh spring rolls but it was all really delicious and we’ll definitely be back. Was pleasantly surprised to find this place in the sea of mexican and chain restaurants that st. george currently has to offer.

My wife and I visited again. The absolute best items on the menu are the V4 and 26. The V4 is a vegetarian dish and absolutely incredible with the sriracha on it. I’m not vegetarian, but it was just as good as my meat dish. We get the same 2 things every time we come, its that good. A heads up though, if you go during peak hours, expect incredibly slow service. They run and try their hardest to keep up, and its a small operation, so I don’t hold them at fault, but keep that in mind if you are going to eat here on a friday or saturday night. You may get turned away if its full or near closing time.

My experience with Vietnamese food is limited to my meals here. I love it. The pork chop with egg rolls in killer! I also like the fresh spring rolls with plum sauce. The serving is about average for an Asian place, it isn’t their strong suit, but the quality and flavor of the food make up for it. Don’t be afraid of trying it just because you’ve never eaten Vietnamese before. It is good.
