We have visited this establishment a handful of times and every time we regret it. Just a dump! Old, dingy and usually only one person working the bowling alley, bar and kitchen. With the money the owner saves by not having any staff, maybe he could put it into the business and spruce it up? I appreciate the staff trying to keep up, however you cannot expect one person to do everything and most that we have encountered aren’t able to. We had to just about walk into the kitchen to get the 1 employees attention after waiting patiently at the bar for 5 minutes, then she proceeded to make drinks for people before she made her way out to the bowling area??? See ya… no patience for that when we are trying to have a relaxing afternoon with the kids:( Stay away!

Everything(bowling, food, drinks) is priced well. Their food is super good! This is my new go-to place when I want to go out.

As long as you know what you are getting into, you should enjoy your time at the lanes. First for the iffy stuff: It’s an older building that is getting constant renovations. some could find that off-putting, but it’s never bothered me. Sometimes the staff get slammed and the bartender will be serving food and drinks in the bar and the bowling alley at the same time which means it’ll take an extra minute to get your drink. Once again, that doesn’t bother me because I know that it’s a very reasonably priced place and more staff=higher prices, right? Sometimes the lanes will jam, I’m not a serious bowler, so what? Lastly, I’ll just say that I wouldn’t mind the restrooms getting a renovation. Now on to the good stuff! Really nice staff that will know your name and your preferences within a couple visits. It’s a small town bar atmosphere, the people who frequent the business are awesome, you will meet new friends. The prices are pretty dang low-booze and food included. The food is surprisingly good. My favorite is the Broaster Chicken. Think it’s $ 8 for 2 pieces of white meat with a salad, breadstick(best breadsticks!), potato side and veggie mix. The pork chops are soooo tasty, remind me of a thinner version of the state fair pork shop on a stick. LOVE the seasoning. They have a large menu of pretty standard bar foods, but they do them right. Soups are made in house(family recipe even). The pizza is good, but it’s a premade, frozen pizza. Mind you, it’s a very good frozen pizza which I have ate many times, but I wouldn’t order one unless the kitchen was closed(bartenders are able to make them until bar close). Activity wise, there is pool, pull tabs, darts, bowling, a couple games of pinball indoors. Local DJ’s play music Thursday thru Saturday night. Outdoors there is a huge patio, fire pit, TV and water feature. They have a volleyball court, real horse shoe pits and a bean bag toss all available for you to use for free except for when they have volleyball leagues on Thursdays. To my knowledge, this is the only bar in the area that offers these amenities. So, it’s back to me saying, as long as you know what you’re getting into, you should enjoy your time at the lanes. If you are not pretentious and just want to have a good time surrounded by nice people, if you enjoy classic bar grub done right, if you like to have a ton of games at your fingertips, if you appreciate reasonable pricing and a hardworking staff, you will enjoy Patriot Lanes!

One of the few consistently good and entertaining places I’ve found in St. Francis. Our favourite is lazy Sundays — drop in late morning for breakfast, hit the bloody mary bar, and play some $ 1.50 games of bowling. Service is always exemplary, from the waitstaff to the younger guy who takes care of the bowling alley. The food is decent, and very inexpensive. They always have something interesting along the usual crop of light beers on draft, and a full bar if the situation calls for it. Polish up your ball, shine your shoes, and show up hungry.
