Bottom line: Decent food, overpriced with poor service. $ 16.96 for a bacon cheese burger fries and tap water. When I arrived I was greeting by a hostess who showed me to my table. Another kind young man poured water… I waited a out 10 minutes and was finally approached by a server. I ordered a burger. I assumed it came with fries but thankfully I confirmed because burgers come with chips by default. Fries are a $ 3.00 up charge. I ordered them anyway. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time but at no point did my server check on me although he passed by my table multiple times. The burger itself was decent, fires were not worth $ 3.00 Finally well after I finished my food the server came by and offered dessert. I declined. After waiting more than a few minutes I decided to just go walk over to hostess desk to hurry up the check/pay process and end a very disappointing dining experience.

I love going to Glen Morgan for dinner and/or drinks! They have a great selection of craft beers and I love their burgers! Surprisingly for Philly, the lobster roll tastes just like I’m in Boston. I also love the staff — very friendly bartenders and waiters/waitresses. I think their prices are very reasonable and when I am in town, it is my go-to for business dinners or to meet up with old friends.

This place is by far the best happy hour spot around! I am a young professional in the area so to find a place on the main line that’s affordable, offers an awesome craft beer selection, and the best cocktails I have ever tasted, is not an easy task. The Glenmorgan offers all of that plus a comfortable atmosphere and the friendliest staff around. I am so happy I started going here! Favorite happy hour spot by far! I definitely recommend!

Great beer selection including craft beers and unique cocktails all in a convenient location. You can’t beat the half priced happy hour. I work and live in the area and my coworkers and I go here often. I recommend the cheesesteak quesadilla! Give glenmorgan a try if you’re in the area or even staying in the hotel.

One of my favorite happy hour and lunch spots! Great deals and even better beer selection. The menu has a wide variety of food including sandwiches, bar bites and full entrees and the staff is always super friendly. I definitely recommend giving the glenmorgan bar and grill a try if you are in the area!

First of all, service was absolutely terrible. My boyfriend and I met up with a family member here. We were greeted by the hostess right away, but our server didn’t come greet us until 10 mins, but didn’t take our drink order until 10 mins later… then we didn’t get those drinks for an additional 10 mins. So seems like 10 mins is there favorite number here. The server, I don’t even know what her name was, it just seemed like we were a nuisance to her and not friendly at all. She gave us the checks before we were even done with dinner. But after she ran the cards and came back, she then asked if we wanted dessert. She seemed very unorganized. Now I don’t know if she was having a bad night or anything, but they weren’t busy. She was walking around the room looking for things to do. The food was alright. The chicken breast was dry. The crock of onion soup was luke warm, and I wish I could’ve said something to the server about it, but like I said, she seemed like we were annoying her and left the table quickly after she would ask one person at the table a question.

Fire all the waiters! The food is almost 3, at the Sunday morning breakfast buffet. Followed by the worst waiter and servers. Ordered an ice tea, never arrived, and yes we would have asked a second time but waiter never came around. No second cup of coffee, but did 18% gratuity to our table of six. I assume they don’t get tips on their service, I get that. Run away from this place and do not go back! Best tip.

Decided to try this place for our Anniversary based on the beautiful pictures on this page. What a mistake! Our server was nice but the food was disappointing. I had ordered the Crab Rigatoni and the crab smelled old– like fish! They did take the food back and I ordered something else. I told my husband to eat his food instead of wait for my other order to come in. It was an inconvenience and definitely not worth a return, We also ordered the BBQ pork mac & cheese(just ok), pork dumplings(good but it’s fried food so kinda hard to mess up), and the Sauerbraten(ALOT of fat on the meat which was inedible). Overall review– don’t waste your time– overpriced for below subpar food.

Most restaurants inside hotels are forgettable but this is an exception. Glenmorgan has a diverse menu which should make any palate happy. From burgers to lobster rolls. Portion sizes are ample. I found the service to be excellent and thoughtfully friendly. The bar is very busy and there is a happy hour Monday through Friday. Bar service offers a generous pour. Solid service, food, reasonable prices too.

The service was terrible. Had a wedding here at the Radnor Hotel and it was terrible. Do not waste your money. The price we paid for what my wife and Ingot was shit. The food was cold, more people were cleaning up than giving us appetizers. The steak was horrible. Cold and over cooked. Save your time and go elsewhere in the area. Weddings are a business and this place is trash.

Bad wine selection(see Tips). Bland food — the recipes sounded good, didn’t deliver in the mouth. I am not a salt-a-holic by any means but even a slight seasoning of the food would help. I usually give too many 3’s and 4’s. I finally found a 2. But such a nice hotel … And the Terrace breakfast was much better.

Drinks were ok, nothing special but bartenders are NUTS. act too pretentious for such a not great location… acted better than us and went out of their way to make sure we did not have a good time(That’s what it seemed like) Couldnt make basic drinks because they«weren’t allowed» If Im willing to pay you and tip you, you should be willing to make my drink! New team would be exceptional

Food is good… If you get there before 10 and order off the regular menu. Bar is fun when the hotel is packed… Some bar tenders need to be able to socialize a little more. Bar tenders are very loud with the flashing of the trash, dirty dishes, etc. many people under 21 have to sit away from the bar… Which is fine, but uncomfortable to watch when their parents have to leave the bar when they are right under the minimum.

I was taken here for a birthday brunch and it was FANTASTIC! I enjoy the craving and omelette stations. The options were plentiful especially with the Mimosa’s. It was crowded and lively during my visit and the service was exceptional. As I was waiting for my omelette, I tried the shrimp, the french toast and a small plate of bacon. I was so FULL… that made me disappointed because I couldn’t try more items. I would return to check out the happy hour that I have heard about.

I came here while staying at the attached Radnor hotel. Nice ambiance inside and pleasant outdoor seating as well. I came for dinner and dinned al fresco since it was such a pleasant evening. I got there right before the end of happy hour and so was able to place an order for a half price appetizer. Hummus — roasted garlic hummus, tomatoes, feta cheese, baba– ghanoush, Kalamata olives, crisp parmesan flatbread. For a hotel restaurant It was much nicer than I was expecting(especially at half price). The Hummus was creamy and well seasoned and came with truly excellent summer tomatoes. The baba-ghanoush was also good(not sure if it’s made in house). A great start to the meal. For the main couse I ordered the Fish taco’s — golden fried mahi-mahi, black bean corn salsa, cilantro sour cream, fresh guacamole, pico de gallo, tri-color tortilla chips. The Tacos were great with crisp fish(though not oily) topped with a cabbage slaw and the corn salsa. I don’t think the guac was made fresh in house, looked like it was out of a container. I came back the following morning for breakfast before checking out. For $ 15 they were offering a breakfast buffet with hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, oat meal, yogurt, cold cereal, and an assortment of muffins and toast. As I said, overall much nicer than I was expecting. Good job guys!

Updating my review after they updated their happy hour specials. My bffski and I used to come here like 1 – 2 times every week for happy hour, despite the fact that it took us each at least 20 – 30 minutes to get here. Old happy hour was simply amazing — 50% off everything. Any drink you wanted, and any appetizer. This was such a good deal mostly for their specialty cocktails which are typically priced between $ 10 and $ 13ish. And their appetizers which are more expensive than appetizers at other bars. New happy hour only includes beer, wine, and most appetizers I believe. Now, this is obviously fine because bars are not required to have happy hours at all. And their cocktail list is always inventive and drinks are made really well and pretty strong. So if you live on the Main Line and can afford to pay 30 – 40 bucks for drinks during happy hour, this is your place. But now there is nothing even close to an incentive for us regular people to drive down 476 to visit ever again. Half priced beers and half priced expensive wines? No thanks. If I want a beer, I can drive down the road a few minutes and save myself the gas money. This restaurant is such an expensive place normally, there’s no way I’d be able to afford full price here. The only time I’ve been back since they deformed their happy hour was to splurge on a New Year’s Eve package with my boyfriend. We spent several hundred dollars on a room and a multi-course dinner. The hotel room was fine, but on the small side. Unfortunately, my boyfriend’s scallops were not cooked properly and we were both up half the night caring for his food poisoning. Mentioned it to the front desk on our way out the next morning, and no one ever contacted us. Obviously food poisoning is a rare case, and can happen to anyone, but this was just the last straw. I miss you, old happy hour. :(

I was so looking forward to this brunch when I knew we were going to a hotel buffet with unlimited champagne and mimosas(birthday brunch). What’s there not to love right! Well, don’t come here around 1:30pm because when things runs out… they really don’t bother to refill since it’s close to the end of brunch(3pm). I literally picked out the last 5 shrimp from the salad bar and didn’t even get to try some of the other items. For 30 bucks… it really was a disappointment. The unlimited champagne(think I ordered 5) was the best part of the brunch! I was so mad that I forgot to take pix of the food. They did have live jazz playing in the background but we sat so far so we barely heard it. Don’t think I will come back here any time soon and we love to spend money on brunch… bummer!

Don’t go here. Just don’t. Well, unless you like bland food. You know when you go to a restaurant and the food is just so bad that it ruins your night? Well, this place is disappointment central. We ordered the French Onion Soup, the Margherita Pizza, and the Pork Pot Stickers. When they arrived, we were starving. After the first couple of bites, we were shocked that food that seemed to be reasonably presented and delicious-looking from the online pictures was c-o-m-p-l-e-t-e-l-y devoid of flavor. We decided to keep the alcoholic bebidas flowing to 1) maintain our buzz 2) get drunker so the food would taste better, and 3) be less agitated at our impending $ 70+ bill. I won’t go into critiquing the service at this point, but it was less than stellar as well. Just know that if Tom Hanks had had his welcome back dinner at Glenmorgan after escaping the island in Cast Away, he probably would have preferred starvation.

This review is all about an amazing Happy Hour! I’ve been here for other things but the Happy Hour should delight just about everybody. By the way it’s 5 – 7 pm. So the deal is half priced drinks and half priced appetizers. Sounds kind of normal so far but it’s absolutely not. We’re not talking well drinks here we are talking everything. Feel free to have a premium martini at half price. Want a glass of very nice wine; half price. Ditto for the appetizers. Everything is beautifully presented and delicious. The other aspect of this Happy Hour that’s great are the bartenders. Kudos to the management for hiring some amazing people. The icing on the cake is the bar itself. It’s beautiful and comfortable. This Happy Hour is not new. It’s been around for many years and plenty of folks«in the know» on the mainline are tuned into it. A quick note to folks not from the area. If you are on Route 476(Blue Route), it’s less than two minutes off the Radnor/Route 30 exit.
