While I’m not familiar with the current management of this building, I can speak to the building itself. It’s quite the walk from the SCSU campus(10 – 15 minutes) but for the price, it’s hard to beat. It’s also right across the street from Eastman Park, which was has a few open fields of grass and a very nice, newly renovated lake. The building itself needs a lot of work. The back lot was paved at one point but has since become a mud puddle with some stones in it. The grass around it has a very hard time growing. The doors look to be at least 10 years old. At one point during the winter, the back door of the building wouldn’t close all of the way and lock. The rooms are what you’d expect for the price offered. They’re not what you’d call spacious but for your average college student, they work. I don’t know if the new management has done anything with the appliances but the old ones were a bit outdated. Overall, I guess you get what you pay for. This place is well situated and the downfalls are tolerable for such a good price.
