Statler-Maloof offers dogs and people plenty of open space and tree cover where dogs run and play off-leash. A heavy-duty water fountain/faucet and a faux fireplug that sprays a dog-height mist keep everyone cool and hydrated. Volunteer(s) stock the park with tennis balls and chuck-it throwers. Two dispensers make it easy to observe the pick-up-your-poop requirement. Members receive an electronic fob that opens a locked gate, which opens on to a fenced-in area for removing and re-attaching leashes. A gate opens from there to let leash-free dogs into the park. The $ 20 annual membership for residents and $ 30 for non-residents ensures only thoroughly vaccinated dogs and responsible owners enter. The small-dog section is scheduled for expansion soon, but most small dogs prefer to play with the other dogs. Incredible service for the money.

I take my dog here sometimes. I like it a lot. The dogs have a blast and I’m happy that the city allowed(meaning they did nothing to help it) something like this. My dog loves it and it’s perfect. The only reason it gets 4 stars is because some of the people that use it forget the etiquette that they learn in the training class. Some people can get rude and not watch their dogs or let them do whatever they want. Other than that, awesome place.

Bow wowowowow Aruuuuu. What a nice place for the ones we love. Our adorable mutts. Residants and non-residants are both welcome here. The one thing is you must have a fob pass which requires you to shoe vaccination papers and licenses, which is a very good thing. During winter months you should bring a jug of water but summer time they have the tap on. It is so much fun watching the dog run and run you can find youeself here for a few hours.
