Passport Pizza

The customer service and product quality that passport pizza offers is low grade and we will never buy their product again. This was our second time ordering pizza and this was the second time we were treated very poorly and our order was messed up. The first instance was in Oct. We ordered 4 or 5 pizzas for carry out because we were having a party. When we got home and proceeded to eat, EVERY SINGLE PIZZA was WRONG!!! We called and requested new pizzas be delivered to our home because it wasn’t our error and we had 18 people over our house for a party. We were told that they were too busy and it was our fault for not checking the boxes before we left the store. Our only option was to take the pizzas back and pick up new ones. So one of us had to leave our guests and go back to pick up the corrected pizzas. Now we had people at our home for an hour waiting to eat because Passport messed up the order. They even admitted they messed up and there was no apology and the workers on the phone and behind the counter were very rude and accusatory. No restitution was offered. Today we opted to give them a second chance, everyone deserves one. So we placed an order and my husband picked it up on his way home from work. Once home and sitting down to eat we notice there is NO SAUCE on the pizza!!! And there was a total of 12 pieces of sausage for the entire large pizza and each piece had 2 – 3 of the mini pepperoni on them. We called again, this time we don’t want a new pizza we want our money back for the one that was made incorrectly. When the «call center» called the store they told him that they «ran out of sauce» and just didn’t say anything. WHAT!!! How does a pizza place run out of sauce? And if you do, DON’T make the pizza! Call and let me know and maybe we can get a different kind. Again, no apology and after talking to the call center and Valerie, the manager on duty, all they would offer is a new pizza. We don’t want a new pizza, we want a refund. We were home and it was 8pm, we wasted 15 minutes on hold and going back out for a new pizza, which will take 20 – 30 minutes with drive time, is not an option. Twice we received poor quality service and product. Twice we were treated like it was our fault. Twice we were refused good customer service. We asked to speak to Valerie’s manager and were told she won’t be in until Friday, and her name is ‘Sue’. We asked for a last name and we were told she can’t give us that information. What kind of an owner/​manager is so ashamed of her business that she won’t share her last name? And what kind of business is such low quality that won’t guarantee customer satisfaction and being treated with respect? We want our money back for the crap pizza we received. We will be contacting the BBB and all social media outlets with our review. And i can tell you that all our guests at our party, all residents of St Clair Shores too, will NEVER buy passport pizza. They were all appalled at the quality of service and I’m sure once they hear this they will be even more.

Last order was horrible experience. Delivery, we were told would be 45 minutes and an hour and a half later still no knock on the door. Called there only to be told that the delivery driver should’ve delivered it by now and that they would investigate. Manager said he would call us back after he talked with the driver to find out what took so long but never called us back. The pizza was dried out, potato wedges were under cooked and meat balls were over cooked. Guess its back to finding a new pizza joint for us.

The best GF pizza around! We’ve ordered from here a couple of times now. Delivery can be slow, but it’s always worth the wait. Also, they have GF cinnamon bread (which is like finding a magical unicorn). If you don’t eat gluten, this is the pizza place for you!

Jets pizza is great and this location makes it exactly how it should be. They are always pretty fast and I’ve never had to wait long for a pizza.

Great pizza, and AMAZING wings. I am so happy that I live near a Passport pizza. Highly recommend! Get a big ben!

On the east side, when you are looking for gluten free options, pickings can be quite slim. But, my fiancé found passport pizza via a google search and was pleasantly surprised. When he went in to get his pizza and bread sticks, the manager gave him a tour of the place and how they ensured a contamination-​free area for the GF items.
The pizza was pretty good, although Buddy’s GF Pizza is probably still a little better, but the bread sticks were great, and you can’t find GF sticks very often.
We will definitely try it out again.
