I love Olga’s, but this location has some of the worst customer service ever. On countless occasions, my order has arrived incorrect. If you order any of your food without a particular item, please double or triple check before taking a bite. God forbid you have an allergy to a particular food and ask for your meal prepared without it and they fail to remove it from your Olga. Although their food is amazing, please go to almost any other location for better service and correct orders.

I ordered online and they had my order ready when I got there. All of the workers were very pleasant and outgoing which made the whole process so much easier. I had a groupon that I used and they didn’t give me any trouble. The food was great and I would definitely return to this location!

Olga’s has been a favorite of mine since I was a child. They have perfected bread. I have been sad to hear about the recent news of a potential bankruptcy but I hope they can survive.

This wasnt my favorite Olga’s experience. The food and service were good, so in an answer to previous comments I think that has improved. However, two separate women with kids came to the dining room and after a minute there was a carnival going on. Screams, running and nuisance. Not every mother seems to be responsible about their kids in public, but considering the issue I expected staff to say something. We packed our good food and left.

Worst Olgas I’ve ever been too. The service was slow at best. My original«Olgas way»(three cheese and extra Olga sauce) came with maybe half the sauce of an original WITHOUT extra sauce. My glass was DIRTY… not a little dirty… Something hardened onto the rim. We waited 10 minutes, in our coats and gloves before the waitress wandered over and asked«is everything still okay?» Sure! Can we have a box and the check? 6 – 7 minutes later, we got the bill. 10 minutes after handing her my debit card, she returned with my box. I waited 30+ minutes for the check and pay process… Ontop of the 40+ minutes I waited for my food. NOTTHEPLACETOGOFOR A QUICKSITDOWNLUNCH, GOODSERVICE, ORCLEANDISHES. I’m only giving this location 2 stars because(she appeared to be) the manager was friendly and held the door for me with my stroller, on top of asking tables how their food was… Other then that… Not a single friendly person around. I won’t return.

This place sucked. It was social hour in the kitchen and all of our orders were completely messed up. Also, they burned our snackers and sandwich bread. After ordering, we were informed that they had ran out of cheese, but still ended up getting charged for extra cheese on one of the olgas. At one point, there were no servers or managers out from the kitchen. Our server didn’t bring us our bill. We ended up having a different waiter take over our table because he noticed how upset we were. Griffin did a wonderful job. While we were there, several other tables were complaining to the manager about their experience. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

Olga’s Kitchen has been a destination restaurant for my family for decades. The unique taste of the signature flat beard and Olga Sauce made it an expected treat whenever we traveled. The chain loses two full stars overall based on recent menu changes and kronic poor service across the entire chain. The original Olga Sauce has been replaced on many menu items by a different style of mustard sauce; and, customers must request the original sauce as a substitute. In addition, the menu has been trimmed down; most likely as a cost saving move. Throughout the chain, poor service has been a issue for years; and, it does not seem to be improving. One of the most frequent issues is inattentive servers. One positive is the chain’s apparent decision to move away from mall locations to street access venues; improving your overall in-and-out times if you are simply looking to have a meal.

Food is always good, service is always poor. Only six people in the place but waitress felt that on a Saturday night at 9:00pm it must be social hour in the kitchen. Did not get refills, had to wait for a bill! Nothing worse than waiting for a meal is waiting to pay for it! Blame goes to the manager who was too busy counting his receipts than paying attention to what his staff lacks… discipline! Off to Buffalo Wild Wings next time.

Food was good, service was excellent! I ordered my snackers and meal, the snackers came before I could read the negative reviews on Unilocal.Maybe I got lucky because Unilocalers are usually spot on! But I have say that my food then came just as I was finishing the snackers. Holly my waitress was very nice, prompt, and professional. As was the manager with whom I spoke with on my way in and out! This location was great, I will definitely be back next time I’m on the East Side and would recommend it. From the time I sat down to the time I left it was less than 15 minutes. I was nervous after reading the comments, but they were fast, the food was hot, I left full and happy. Good job!

Came here after spending the day on the lake with my nieces. They got hungry on our way home. What I loved about this particular Olga’s is that they did not skimp on the food. My three cheese sandwich was packed with extra onions and tomatoes, that I didn’t request. My only request was extra Olga sauce and that was brought out as well on the side. The honey lemon cheesecake was amazing. So fluffy and light, I only was able to have a few bites of it because my nieces inhaled it for me. Oh well less calories for me. And it was free because of my free checkin offer. Our waiter was so nice and very attentive. He suggested the dessert and did not disappoint.

This review is just about their«signature sandwich” – the Olga» An Olga is gyro meat on an overly-sweet piece of unleavened bread. It’s like the McDiabetes equivalent to a cheeseburger. One can purchase a real gyros sandwich anywhere in the metro Detroit area. I don’t get it. And curly fries? Really-is that a draw for people? Huh? Yes. Yes it is! Because sometimes we just want junk food-yes, we crave it! That sugary, salt fat combination is like hormones on acid to our tongue! Whaaaaa… I want one now!!!

This location can not seem to get a carryout order correct to save their life. When they opened they prided themselves on getting orders right now clearly they have gone in the completely opposite direction. In 1 months time they deleted over $ 78.00 in food from my card because it was completely messed up not to mention the 6 – 8 free Olga sandwich coupons they gave & sent. If I was the owner or company I would be pissed these people are throwing profits right out the window they need to clean house. Take curb side to go was the worst idea ever. Takes me less time to drive to Van Dyke location than it does to find a space and come in and they can read an order and execute it correctly

Avoid this location! The service is HORRIBLE, very very slow, management is oblivious. Since they are so expensive for what they serve they really need to excel on the service side which this location does not. Try the Macomb Mall or Van Dyke and 14 Location instead.

My parents live within walking distance of this Olga’s location and we don’t have the chain in Boston, so I make sure to get takeout here when I’m in town. As a picky eater, there honestly aren’t a ton of items on the menu that I’ve tried, but that’s okay. My main reason for coming here anyway are the Olga’s Snackers. They are truly one of a kind. Love the seasoning, love the cheese, love the whole package. If I do eat in the actual restaurant, I generally just go with the three cheese Olga. As for dessert, the brownie with ice cream is really good. I just checked in on Unilocal for the first time and got an offer for a free dessert, so I’ll have to come back soon!

I love Olga’s. Love love love. However, this location? Get real. We were only one of four locations. We walked in and someone came to seat us right away. However, we did a near full lap around the dining area with him looking lost or on something because he wouldn’t just sit us at a table. Then he looks at us with this weird look in his eye and says, «Sorry,» and just walks away. Uh… alright? Anyway, we get our drinks and snackers quickly. My pulled pork wasn’t exactly pulled pork. It was sliced, way too many onion straws, and kind of dry. It wasn’t terrible by any means, just wasn’t that great. Once we got our food, our waitress never came back to ask how we were doing. She was gone forever. She came and gave my boyfriend a new Pepsi, yet I had to ask for a refill on my water, which took almost ten minutes to get because she disappeared. Anyway. It wasn’t the worst experience I’ve ever had overall, but it was definitely the worst Olga’s we’ve been to. So we’ll just avoid it.
