Steven W. Smunt, DDS, LTD.

I needed a local dentist in 2009, and they were the only one who had late hours a couple of days a week. Steven and staff are nice, and I think he’s a pretty good dentist as well. Funny too. A Civil War enthusiast as well. I’ve been a satisfied customer since then.

I was recommended to Dr. Smunt’s office by my family and I can see why. I had a tooth that needed some serious attention, and he definitely gave attention to it! It seemed that he did things kind of drawn out though and that’s one rating star right there. Instead of filing my tooth down for the crown and putting it on that day, he spaced the whole process out between 3 – 4 visits. Not sure if that was because they were taking me for all they could or what, but I’ve had a different crown put on due to a root canal and I only had two appointments for that. All I know is that my tooth cost me over $ 2k with insurance covering half of it (there goes star #2). For one tooth. Overall, Dr. Smunt is a pretty funny guy that eases your fears of needles and drills.

I, like many other people, loathe the dentist and this office by far has changed my opinion and most of all my fears. They were very aware of my bad experiences with other offices and did above and beyond to make sure i was comfortable and relaxed. I always tell them if i ever had to move out of state i would come back for a cleaning & dental work because i cant imagine going to anyone else
