Red Fish Blue Fish

I really like this bar & still could rate from
2 – 5 stars… I love/​hate Unilocal.
Goose Island IPA on tap & Arrogant Bastard Stone IPA in the bottle is 5 STAR.
Actual of Grand Mariner shots served warm in glass is 5 star [(not matching glassware 3 star)… OK, it is a dive so 4 stars]
Grateful Dead posters mixed with a few punk rock posters… I respect, but gut says 3 star.
Getting jumped on by the hippie hot chick I knew was 5 STAR, getting pee-​pee to pee-​pee hugged by the hippie dude 2 stars & having my beard stroked by the cutie hippie girl was 4 stars.
Having the «bro moment» with some random black dude at the locked bathroom door as he turned & took a piss in the alley & then I did the same 5+ stars (I had to piss in the ally w/​yet far from him & had nothing to do w/​my small bladder ;-)
For a drunken Friday night with friends & a OVERLY talented entertainer, I would say 5 stars. I, knowing Unilocal,say «overall 3 – 4 stars»… So that is the question to Unilocal,how many stars
Honestly, go in expecting a dive bar & come out swinging the ring on the HOOK!

Out of any bar or hangout spot I’ve ever been to, Red Fish Blue Fish is the most inviting I’ve ever been to. Drinks are delicious and not too expensive, pool is free during certain times during the week or $ 1, and their karaōke nights are a blast! Their open mic nights are also worth checking out. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff is very friendly, and it’s not your typical crowded bar. It’s not noisy, nor crowded and their food is delicious. This would be one of my favorite places in St. Charles! Definitely worth checking out!
