Great tasting room! Had my bachelorette party there; the staff was incredibly accommodating. Their wines are nice, too.

We rode into St. Charles on our bikes probably not smelling the best, but we were welcomed into Acquaviva and offered a tasting of 6 wines! Their wines are truly unique, flavorful wines that, while there are sweet wines available, offer a wide variety of rich, dark flavors for true wine lovers! Unfortunately, my husband and I had already eaten, but their menu looked delicious. We’ll be back for sure!

Great wine, great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Perfect place to hang out with your other half or a few friends and enjoy the wines and martinis on offer while nibbling on some meat and cheese plates, crusty bread or any of the other appetizer plates. Looking forward to heading there weekly in the summer and listening to the live music.

I’ve visited for a wine only tour. And have had dinner a few times. Quite lovely. If you go on the weekends at night you just might catch the owner singing along with the pianist. And if you request Moon River he just may ask you to dance. No? Just me? I may never know but it was a super fun night out with the girls. Love old school Italian charming gentlemen. Food is amazing. Wine is delish. Simply gorgeous restaurant. Go for wine. Stay for food and entertainment. Return for both!

I had an amazing time at this place. However I did not try the wine-​I have also been to their vineyard in Maple Grove and the wine was great there. So I assume it is the same. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting.
For my liquid salvation I had several martinis because they were half-​price! Enough said? The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. The owner came in and things got really fun! We sang some opera together and chatted about Pavarotti. As far as the food goes we had the cheese and charcuterie plate. Cheese was great but the charcuterie was just sad. I swear there was straight-​up Oscar Meyer on there. I am in-​between 3 – 4 stars (only because of the bologna) but since I had so much fun-​4 it is!!!

I’ve been out to their Maple Park location and love the tasting room in St. Charles. The service was outstanding, we had a cheese and meat plate along with a special warm plate, which was salmon that melted in your mouth. The wine was fantastic. We also had the pleasure while on our way out to meet the owner, Vito. We will definitely be back (soon I hope)!
