The food mediocre, the place though was pretty cool. I ordered the Chicago Beef Sandwich and it tasted like it was unwrapped in the back and heated prior to serving. It sucked that such an awesome looking restaurant and theme/concept would have such bland tasting food. The gift shop was pretty cool and the decorations inside were an Ode to Murray and his movies… pretty cool stuff. Drop in, take some pics, but eat elsewhere.

We actually did not come to eat, but watch UFC. We were seated near the bar where the only TVs were located, but the host was very insistent on getting one of the stations changed so we can watch it. We eventually found the channel and the bartender was very willing to put it on. Christin was our server. She recommended the golf balls as an appetizer, so we put in an order while we decided what to drink. They had cute specialty drinks, including the yummy one I ordered, the Pool Water Martini. It was Pinnacle chocolate vodka, Frangelico & blue curaçao with a plop of mini Baby Ruth(yes, the candy bar). It was yummy and humorous. It represents the«doodie» from the movie«Caddyshack», which stars Bill Murray, one of the owners of the establishment. Our golf balls came out and they were tasty! Dipped in the horseradish sauce, they were perfect. We even got an order to go. We didn’t stay for the fights, so we didn’t order food, but I did have a Bloody Murray before we left. It was perfect. I would like to return to try the food if we are ever back in the area.

It’s pretty much the only restaurant around Golf Village. Love the movie… a little disappointed with the food. My wife found a hair in her salad. Still worth going to at least once… even if it’s only to drink at the bar!

Highly recommended!!! –Large portions –Amanda our server went above and beyond consistently with a smile –Lots of menu selections –Great atmosphere(minus the jerk of a bartender who wouldn’t change the channel to NBA playoffs) We ordered wings, nachos, drinks, half rack ribs, everything came piping hot and delicious! Best part-Crispy Golf ball appetizers were off the charts yummy!

Not much to choose from in the world of golf village. Caddyshacks was a disappointment. Fast and friendly service however the food was mediocre at best. Basic sports bar fare with NO healthy dishes on the menu at all– all of the salads are loaded with bacon, cheese or fried protein. The ribs were ok, but stuck to the bone quite a bit. The salmon with feta and sundried tomatoes looked like quite the helping but there was very little fish under the gobs of cheese. The kids ordered the Mac and cheese which was covered in perfectly melted cheese…, they took 2 bites. The pasta and cheese sauce was watery and chalky. Don’t waste your time if you’re looking for a half decent meal. This is definitely better suited for a fun place to hang and have a few drinks.

We went to Murrays on Sunday Night for dinner. 3 adults and 1 child(age8). We immediately ordered 2 appetizers. After the waitress returned with our drinks, we ordered our dinner. I believe our waitress forgot to place our appetizer order. As we waited an exceptionally long time for our chips and salsa and the potato golf balls, I requested some silverware. She dropped off 3 sets and 3 extra napkins. There was clearly 4 people sitting at our table. The restaurant was mostly empty and they seemed to have plenty of staff present. Once our appetizers came out, our meal came out just minutes behind it. Our dinners were cold but the potato golf balls were piping hot. Food was decent. Nothing that would make me say«oh we definitely need to go back there».

Pleasantly surprised. Came in with low expectations and left satiated. Good service. Food seemed«home made», fresh, and tasted great! Bang Bang Chicken was bangin! Reasonably priced. All in all, I recommend!

Murray Bros. Caddyshack has the best fries around, but they seem to be slipping overall from past visits, unfortunately. Great atmosphere though, food is just slipping. Nachos could be made from just store bought chips & a can of beans.

Since I was staying at the World Golf Village Renaissance St. Augustine Resort, I decided to try this place for lunch. I’m a huge fan of Bill Murray so I figured it would be pretty cool. I was not disappointed. The décor all over the restaurant was based on Bill Murray and his films. The service was friendly and fast, and the food was better than I expected. I had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and it was really spicy and perfect to my liking. Excellent food and very delicious. This is a great family restaurant and I would dine here again when I get the chance.

Get the quesadilla!!! But not the water, or unsweet iced tea. The tea tastes like crap and the water tastes like toilet water, but besides that, the food is great and the environment is nice.

Good shit. Pizza and burgers are quite solid. We always went here for my now-deceased grandfather’s birthdays and so the memories are fond.

Food here is pretty solid. Prices are reasonable and portions are good size. The wings and nachos were all we had. We just split them for our table. Nachos were pretty excellent!

The burgers are the best, so are the ribs, the dessert, well heck the food is great, and so is the atmosphere. A lot of tourists, as well as lot of local yocals in this famous golf community. Once the staff gets to know that you are a «local,» the service is GREAT! Got to check out the waterfront view.

If the theme was an 80’s looking run off the mill 19th hole restaurant they nailed it. Driving South on 95 and saw huge sign for World Golfing Village and Murray Brothers Restaurant. So what was a Cinderella Boy suppose to do? Tuesday Happy hour 8 at the bar 12 in the restaurant kinda empty. Bar keep was fast beer on tap was cold and fresh. I ordered the steak with Chimi Churi, garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. It was hot it was good the highlight was the spinach. When traveling through the next time I’ll stop again because the people next to me were loving the Italian Beefs. I was going to order it and I didn’t so I have to try it. Souvenir shop had cool gear but t shirts were like a thousand dollars. I did like the chopper Paul Sr. from Orange County Choppers designed with the Caddy Shack theme.

Mostly safe bar type food — burgers and sandwiches and wings and nachos. Service was fine. It was a convenient stop for lunch, but nothing to write home about.

If you’ve read my previous review, you’ll notice the number of stars has been halved. Despite my efforts in complaining to the leadership, things have not improved. I have given them 9 months of time-out to get their act together, but my wait has been in vain. Vein? Vane? Anyway, grammar aside, the service is sinking the ship. It’s bad. Consistently bad. The food is okay and I love the Murray brothers, but I just won’t continue to patronize a place that treats you as if you’re a burden for them by bringing them your money. Today’s experience: 5 minute wait for a server. Server takes the order and returns with the wrong drinks. Food comes and server never returns. My wife had to get up and refill her own drink(And mine too, she’s nice like that, I didn’t ask her to). The funny thing is not a single server in the BUSYLUNCHTIME weekend even noticed she was doing it. 20 minutes later, the server returns and says we can have a 10% discount because we’d seen a movie at the adjacent IMAX. Then comes back and says no we can’t. Oh EMGEE!!! So you had your chance Caddyshack. I’m done.

Fun relaxing atmosphere with memorabilia everywhere. Large bar with TVs aimed at sports are the focal point. We had a cheeseburger and fries and the chicken quesadilla. Both came out hot and exactly what we ordered. The quesadillas were different than I have ever had as they were extremely fried. They were chuck full of ingredients which was great. The burger was a burger, nothing special and the fries appeared as if they were bought in a bag and warmed up. Prices were a bit high for what you got.

I have been going here since we discovered the WGV. I now live close by and am working my way thru the menu. I stick with beer and wine; nice selections. They have my beer of choice on tap. ;^} I have seen an improvement of how clean the place and restroom is;– As some of the servers are spraying down the tables and chairs and wiping after each guest. The menu fare is good and has variety. Hey this is better than average bar and golf course eatery food. I think some folks are not comparing it fairly. Angela is the best waitress ! Yes, and then there is the super memorabilia from golf, film and the Murray brothers! Nice pro shop. Love the t-Shirts there! Maybe the bartender(s) who got poor previous reviews from customers could be instructed better on how to serve outstanding mixed drinks and keep the bar clean! Love this place!

For the prices and the location of this restaurant you would think the food would be top notch. Nice friendly golf like atmosphere. The food has no flavor and taste like something frozen heated in a microwave. I had a cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese and bacon with french fries it was bland the bacon looked like it was microwaved and tasted flavorless the only thing really good about my meal where the golden brown crunchy french fries. Disappointing establishment.

I went here for the golf theme. I love golf. However, this is one of those«been there done it» spots. The food was nothing better than a typical TGI Fridays type fare. And actually, at least TGI Fridays stays up with the time and has some inventive items. The menu at Caddyshack was… boring and overpriced. We skipped the appetizers(typical fare of onion rings and chicken wings) and went straight for a salad and pizza. The house salad was ordinary– lettuce, tomato, cheese and dressing. Nothing special but it was only after all, just a house salad. As ordinary as it was, it was probably the best thing we had here. The menu is a meat-lovers dream– hot dogs, bratwurst and pulled pork. We opted for Palmero flatbread– a pizza with spinach, goat cheese and caramelized onions. We like flatbread dough to hold up to its toppings– to be thin but crispy. This flatbread was disappointing. The crust was so soggy it had to be eaten with a fork and knife. Nothing pizza-ish about it. The toppings were scarce, the cheese was an oily mess. sigh We did also order the Fish of the Day– blackened red fish. A few bites into it I thought there may be hope for this place yet– then I pulled a fishbone out of my mouth. Ew. While this happens sometimes even at the best of places, it just wasn’t surprising. Once you find a fishbone, it is hard to enjoy the rest of the dish without chewing very carefully, concentrating on finding bones rather than enjoying the flavor. Luckily, there were no other bones. Again, it happens, but it was just the topper of an already really disappointing meal. If you are a golf fan, you will enjoy walking around and seeing the 15,000 caddy bibs hanging on the wall. If you love the Caddyshack film, you will enjoy the life-sized cardboard cutout of Bill Murray hanging out in the restaurant. That may be about it though. While the adjacent World Golf Hall of Fame is well worth the visit, the Murray Bros. Caddyshack restaurant is not. Visit it though, take a walk around the place and enjoy the golf memorabilia on the walls, take a picture with Bill, but then eat at any of the other restaurants located in World Golf Village for a decent meal.
