We had a great stay here, its in a beautiful area near the falls and hiking trails, everything worked well including the wifi (well no phone signal, but that was expected in the mountains), theres an extra heater in the bathroom, and we had a really nice breakfast. The staff even brought out grapefruit for us. Really cute dog who keeps you company at breakfast. We feel like we got the true smoky mountains experience by staying here!

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Parkview Lodge. Location is favorable to Wiseman’s View and Linville Falls, rooms are amply quaint (pet friendly AND HBO!!) and pricing is fair. The crucial reason I will be back to stay is the owners. In business 22 years, their level of hospitality cannot be matched.
After being stranded on the ridge Thanksgiving weekend due to car trouble, Cindy and David attended to our every need. We truly felt cared for as though we were family! So much so that they are forever inscribed on my Christmas fudge list. It was that memorable. I urge you to support this family business!

My wife and I stayed here on our trip up the Blue Ridge Parkway. The staff is incredibly friendly and very helpful. They’ll talk your ear off and help you figure out where to go and hike to see the area.
The motel is what you’d expect for the area. Clean, no frills, and dated. Doesn’t really matter that it’s dated though since you’re not there for the hotel itself, but to explore the area.
If you’re looking for a place to stay on the Parkway near Linville Falls, this is it. It’s right off the parkway (about 500ft). Clean, and friendly.

I’m a fan of the Parkview Lodge mainly because of the owners. The rooms are okay, nothing fancy but adequate. The location is great for being near Wiseman’s View, Linville Falls, or Linville Caverns. The rate is fair. I think we paid around sixty something per night. My husband and I were very impressed with the owners of the lodge. They were available and helpful and served the best continental breakfast I’ve ever had at a motel or inn, breakfast quiche and french toast casserole. Very pleasant atmosphere. I’m glad we chose to stay here.
