6 of us went to the soap shed on Saturday. Our plans were to by early Christmas presents. I thought it was 10 am when store was to open so I rang the bell. (10 min till 10). My friend who shops there regularly did not realize I had rang the bell and rang the bell again. The owner came to door and started yelling at us. My friend apologized twice but the man kept ranting. Will not go there again. I figure he lost approx 500.00 that day and many thousand over the next few years for his behavior. I told my friends from NY that all southern people were not rude like he was. This was their 1st time coming to NC mtns. Just wanted to buy our favorite soaps.

Great soap! Owners seem nice. Help is a little off. This place is off the beaten path. It seems as if your driving onto someone else’s property! Couldn’t tell if the place was open or closed.
