Willamalane Park & Recreation District

This review is for the Preschool Plus program and the Kids’ Club. I was so pleased with the level of professionalism I’ve noticed with the experienced preschool teachers (like Ms. Candice) or the program coordinator. I toured several other preschools in Eugene and Springfield before choosing Willamalane, and I was very happy with the choice. Preschool Plus has nice, newer and CLEAN equipment and toys. The kids go to the nearby park/​play structure daily. I loved the fact that in the summertime they took at least 1 – 2 trips every week to Splash, Leaburg Hatchery, museums, Mt. Pisgah… The cost, which was not a decisive factor in selecting this preschool, was also much lower than the two downtown Eugene centers I toured.
My child is now going to the after school program (Kids Club) at Thurston Elementary. The program is very well structured with outside play time, physical activity in the gym, tons of cool crafts, and special guests. Very happy we got in the program, as they have limited slots and a long waiting list :).
