I tried using my discover card here on two different occasions. Both times the gas pump said it could not read my card. The first time, I simply used a different card. The second time, I was little more frustrated. It was a brand-new card that had worked fine at other places on the same day. On this particular night, I went inside to try to get the card to work at the register. It did not work on the card reader inside. The store clerk was quite rude about it. I asked if he could type the numbers in, to which he said no. He then told me I needed to find somewhere else to get gas. He never asked if I had another card, or if there was any other way for me to pay. He rudely dismissed me and showed no interest in my business. I will not be going back to this gas station.

We stopped here on are way to Myrtle Beach to get gas and to have a rest stop. The gas is average sized, right off the parkway so it was easy to get to for someone who doesn’t know the area. Like it said I wasn’t from Springfield but from what i seen the gas was average in price. The bathrooms were cleaner then most gas stations but I also seen cleaner. Most of the drinks and snacks we bought were typical for a gas station gas. So this gas station average in everything, nothing special.

If Sunoco had an ATM and cheaper gas prices it would easily be my favorite gas station in Burke! However it is quite convenient located off of 7100(Fairfax County Parkway). There’s a commuter lot nearby which allows flexibility to fill up before or after work. Fortunately I’ve never had to wait for gas. They offer an automatic car wash as well. Maybe one day I’ll try it as long as there’s no waiting in line!

Just my local neigborhood gas joint. I get cigs and gas here, sometimes the occasional snack. I dig the place, only because the staff knows me and knows what I come there for, even before I walk in. I used to work here back in the good ‘ol days, so I know the in’s and outs quite well. Just know these things: 1. Snacks here are very expensive, much more so than average. Gotta pay those utility bills, i guess. oh, and a quart of Mobile 110w30 will run you $ 11! WTF?! 2. Don’t even ask about the car wash. It’s either broken or works and sucks, get over it, don’t be mad brah. OR, just wash your own car! It’s way more effective that way. 3. Air is free, but you have to ask for it at the counter. —(updated, below) 4. Vacuum is more than likely non-functional. 5. Station has outdated inspection stickers from the VA Dept. of Agriculture, dating back to 2008. —(updated, below.) 6. They DOHAVE91 octane! 7. They DONTHAVE beer :( 8. Don’t come here at 5pm and expect to be able to get gas. Pumps fill up quickly and there is usually a line of at least two cars per pump. 9. Always check the expiration date. Stuff is typically fresh enough to trust because it is delivered once a week. Except the strange plasti-wrapped hamburgers and sammiches. I’ve eaten them plenty with no ill effect but simply can’t vouch for them in good conscious. 10. Station closes at 11:45 on the nose. Don’t make it here by then? Guess you should have left earlier! EDIT: station now has updated the inspection stickers for the pumps and are current. EDIT: Air now costs money. And it’s not cheap. Lame change, Sunoco, lame change.
