I’ve been here a bunch of times and it’s always interesting. The layout of this place is so strange to me– you’re constantly looking at the backs of peoples’ heads. Anyhow, the food is actually pretty good. But beware, at like 10:00 on Fridays and Saturdays this place transforms into a nightclub so don’t expect to be able to hear yourself think. But if you’re looking for a bar atmosphere with a DJ and dancing, this place is for you!

My wife went to a birthday party last night at Samuels with my sister and mother. I had to share there experience. They ordered food at the bar to have sent to there table and got there own drinks when the food came they got no silverware or napkins and when the bill came for the table of three there was a 30% gratuity added. They had already put at least that in the bartenders tip jug so weren’t about to double tip for terrible service. Then when they refuse to pay the outrageous added gratuity the bartender says they always add the charge and they had to pay or she would get the manager witch she never did and probably because she would have gotten in trouble for charging a table of 3 a 30% gratuity. So keep your card and check your bill after reading other reviews this place makes sport of ripping people off.

The bartending and waitstaff are all pretty hot, but snobby and cannot get your order right or answer a question to save their lives. Clearly looks is more important than a demonstrated ability serving or bartending as it pertains to hiring. The food is ok. I say ok, because I have ordered the same things multiple times from there and each time it’s been cooked or tasted differently and other times I have ordered something as simple as a buffalo chicken dip and it has been a complete fail. That being said, there have been times, few and far between, where your food tastes excellent. So if you go, hopefully you get lucky. This place deserves two stars for the actual design and layout of the bar(pretty nice!) and the actual choice of menu items on both their food and drink lists.

I’m from California visiting family in Springfield and my sister invited me out to this place Saturday night. There is no cover charge to get in. The people are a young college age crowd. There was a small dance floor towards the back playing a mix of hip hop and R&B and some top 40 music. I ordered shots of tequila that came out to $ 6.50 a shot. Go to the bar outside because it’s ridiculously crazy at the main bar. I can’t comment on the food because we didn’t order any and I think at the point the kitchen was closed. If I was back in town I would come here again

The bartenders are rude bitches. The servers are stuck up skanks. The bouncers are douchebags. The venue is completely racist. The food is average. Fuck this place. I went with a couple of my friends, once to eat and once to party and both times were horrible. If you like being judged and treated like shit well this is the perfect place for you.

It’s a cool little bar. Entrance is a bit awkward so when it’s packed it’s rather hard to get around. Really can’t comment on the food and I don’t expect much from bars like this to provide quality dishes specially with great restaurant choices near by. The drinks are always stiff and you will get your money’s worth, that bartenders are quick and efficient. The music is decent 4 out of 5 times that I come here. It’s your typical sports bar but with a slight dress code. On this note I absolutely agree with the dress code Consisting of no hats. The place attracts some good looking women and professionals, and do you really want to make a crappy impression by being too lazy to brush your hair and put a decent pair of pants on that aren’t falling off your ass?
