I would recommend Sam’s to everyone. They treated us fairly and did a great job on our vehicle. Requested an estimate online to other shops with no reply. Sam’s got right back to us. Made an appointment online, it was easy.

My mother took my Range Rover here while I was out of the country after experiencing some strange leakage on the passenger side. I did some research on google and came across a forum with many similar problems on the same year and model. I specifically sent a screen shot of what seemed like the solution to my problem and had my mother show it to them. Sam’s investigated my vehicle’s leak for several days and performed several tests including water, smoke, and also an oil change. When I came back to Oregon and picked up my car from the shop, they had left my driver’s side handle off with the key hole exposed and no explanation. Later they told me it was because my key’s battery was dead, and in the mean time I experienced a lovely car alarm going off at 2am and whilst dining out. Running to your car wondering what the f#ck?! did these people do to my vehicle! in the middle of a meal is ALWAYS fun. After leaving the shop I excitedly drove away without thoroughly checking my car(my mistake) and found massive disappointment when I arrived home. The entire row of back seats which were previously untouched/un-sat in were entirely scratched. I was painfully let down by their lack of respect for my car and hurt by the loss. I called them to speak about the concerning details and received a voicemail later referring to myself as «Dorris» by the owner. Come on! That in itself shocked me considering it’s my LAST name, not my first. I cannot understand how an auto business which has been standing for so long, could make errors like they did. I took my car elsewhere and low & behold the issue was the exact one in which I had screen shot as reference for Sam’s. Are you kidding me? I could have fixed that myself instead of paying to have my car trashed at this business. I can’t even look at it’s business front passing by driving without a pang of anger shooting through my veins. Who appeared to be the owner made a measly attempt to suggest«fixing» my seats, only to make it sound like a hassle and claim to have no knowledge of doing the deed. To think I would ever even let them fix the problem they created is a joke. I’m utterly disappointed. You’re not touching my property ever again.

My husband had work done on our brakes for our Chrysler Fifth Avenue on April of this year at Sam’s Auto Service in Springfield. We are very dissatisfied at what they did to our breaks. After a week in their shop and $ 800.10. .our brakes are squealing again. They told my husband there was oil in the brake fluid. He questioned the Mechanic who came to the house because he has has worked on heavy equipment for 60 years and he showed the Mechanic the oil he had used and it was clear. They told us they would not guaranty the job unless we let them drain the brake fluid and put new hydraulic hoses and replace the whole hydraulic system. My husband had already bought the brake pads. Since we wanted it done under a guarantee we let them go ahead on their work. However, we don’t think all this work should have been done. When our car came back our air-conditioning stopped cooling suddenly and it had been working before and we suspect they drained the fluid in it too. Who really knows for sure. All we wanted them to do was change the two calipers and drain the brakes. Now my husband and I won’t take our car back to them at all. We don’t trust them. We are on a budget and live on Social Security and this has hurt us. We wish we had not chosen this Garage to work on our car. They won’t get any more business from us.
