After hearing about how great this salon is, i decided to pay it a visit because i needed my hair done for a special event. Huge mistake. The staff was very nice, sure. However, the lady who did my hair would not listen to my directions(my hair needed to be styled in a specific manner). She was even shown the picture of how i wanted my hair to be done THREETIMES(it was a simple hairstyle, trust me). She claimed that she knew what to do. I refuse to disclose her name, though. She teased the back of my hair a ton, and left the sides completely flat. She told me that, if I did not like what she was doing, to give her more directions, so I did. It seemed like no matter how many simple directions i was giving her, she just would not understand what I was trying to tell her, or she would ignore me. I completely gave up on trying to help her and just let her do what she wanted to do. After every single time that she’d style my hair, she’d spray it way too much. My hair was beginning to look crunchy. Then she proceeded to tell me that she needed STRONGER hairspray. Ok then… Later she asked me if i wanted EVENMORE hairspray, and i said no. By the end, the back of my hair looked ok(except for the«Jersey Shore» snooki poof) but the front looked like a pancake. She was really nice, and i felt bad, so i gave her a hefty tip(the salon was overpriced to begin with). I left the salon EXTREMELY disappointed, and had to go home and completely restyle it. For the next three days, i could not get the knots out of my hair(from when she teased my hair). I didnt even know she teased it THAT much. My hair was coming out in giant clumps. I tried detangling it, brushing it with a special brush. yet my hair was not detangling(keep in mind, the knots in my hair were GIGANTIC). Showering did not help either. As a result, I had to cut my hair, which I’ve spent a long time trying to grow out. Although the ladies who work here are nice, I will never visit this salon again, nor will I recommend it to friends or family. However, I hope others have a much better experience than I had, and i hope that my experience was just a one-time thing.
