Do I really have to give 1 star? My bf was so sweet to want to take me here tonight for dinner. He was really looking forward to having turkey and steak. Both were just horrible. And the service was beyond disappointing. There’s a reason there’s no longer a north side location! We will never be back!

I went to Ryan’s and, to say the least, I was sorely disappointed. More expensive than corral. Have to pay for to go drinks. Rolls were mediocre. Nice selection salads. Question why the have cocktail sauce and tartAr sauce yet no entrees for them. Service ok. Overall just not good. Once was enough.

We went to Ryan’s for lunch this past week and we asked for our money back right away. First impression was the dinning area was dirty. When you got up close to the food serving areas, it was worse. I went to make a salad and the tomatoes were «floating» in their own juice and the oil and vinegar dispenser was nasty to the touch. The salad station did not look like anything had been refreshed in over an hour and nothing felt or looked like it had been cleaned in weeks or months. i originally got the roast beef that was served creatively in it own small pan. The beef was delicious but the potatoes and carrots were not done. When we went to leave and ask for money back, we were concerned we would be hassled but the guy give us our money back without any problems and apologized. I don’t think we will be going back and would not recommend it to anyone.

Used to like Ryans but the last few times we have gone we were very disappointed. Too many carb dishes, very little protein/​meat selections. The taste of most things is bland. We usually go with another couple and all of us have decided that it is time to find another restaurant to frequent.

Took father in law out for fathers day. Need to watch quantities a little better but everything tasted good. service was very good!!!

I haven’t been to Ryan’s in several years because of the poor quality of food and lack of selection. However, after recently seeing several advertisements on television and receiving some coupons in the mail, my girlfriend and I decided to give them a try today.
The selection and quality of food has definitely improved as well as the service. The lunch items were pretty good. But I really enjoyed the dessert selection. Especially since all the desserts are pre-​portioned and plated. I think this is great because you no longer find mutilated pies with only crust left or banana pudding with no more cookies in it. For a buffet, the desert presentation was surprisingly very nice.
There wasn’t much to complain about, but for the sake of an all-​inclusive review, I shall not omit. I only noticed four problems during my visit today. One dish seemed to be old and dried out or possibly just overcooked. The salad dressings were watered down and didn’t have much of a flavor to them. The shredded cheddar on the salad bar did not taste anything like cheese at all. And lastly, the chopped boiled eggs tasted like water was added. I seriously doubt they added water to the eggs, but something happened there. Since I sampled and enjoyed several different items on the buffet, I would say that these minor issues would not stop me from coming back again.

Pretty good for a buffet. Lunch is reasonably priced and kids under 3 are free. Banana pudding tastes great!
