We were in town for a hockey tournament and wanted to grab a quick bite before the morning game. We found Russ’s and although the restaurant was full, we found a couple of seats at the counter. We were in and out in 30 minutes which was perfect. This is a very no-frills, diner type place. The food was great, service was fast, and the value for the money was excellent. Would definitely visit again when back in the area.

A little on the pricey side compared to similar joints. That wouldn’t be as much of a complaint if toast came with most breakfasts. Also if yours does come with toast and you’d like to sub an English muffin it’s a dollar or dollar fifty extra! Mediocre coffee. I do go to Russ’s and aside from these few complaints, the foods always good and the wait staffs always good, especially the blonde.

Great traditional breakfast and lunch place… Feels like a diner. Friendly folks all around. Raisin french toast and fabulous omelets!

Friendly neighborhood breakfast joint. All of the breakfast basics plus homemade raisin toast. Good service at the counter and people(mostly regulars it seems) to talk to. Eggs were perfectly cooked and the home fried potatoes were enjoyable.

This is a good ol’ fashioned diner that is located up the road from Baystate Medical Center. It has some solid breakfast options — the breakfast sandwich is decent. There are some fancier breakfast joints with some slightly better food, but if you need a quick bite to eat after a night shift or need a bite before work, come here! It’s cute and close to the hospital.

My favorite local breakfast spot. It has a diner feel. The most reasonable prices you can imagine. It’s clean, fast and always always good food. Fantastic home fries. Buyer beware… meat omelets can be a bit greasy. Great Texas bread French toast. It’s a very small and cozy place but you can always sit at the counter and still feel comfortable. Cash only!

Cash Only… no other posts listed this. There is an ATM in the 7⁄11 across the street. Nice little neighborhood spot. Food was nothing special, but a nice atmosphere. Ordered the spanish omelet with homefries and coffee. Nicely priced, everything for under $ 10. The waitress knows her regulars, asked how I enjoyed myself since she had not seen me in the place before. I had walked up from Baystate, it seemed like a much better choice than hospital food.

The breakfast here is really good. Great price, friendly atmosphere. It tends to get busy at times lets you know they are good.

My wife and I have made Russ’s a pretty regular stop on Sunday mornings. The service is always friendly and the food is pretty good. It can be pretty busy on the weekends, so sitting around the counter is a good option.

A decent little corner diner. I got the bacon and cheddar omelette, and it was pretty average. The service was slow, and twice we had to spend a few minutes trying to get the attention of a waitress.
