Rocco’s Pizza

We tried this place n a whim one night. One of those nights where neither one of us felt like cooking after working all day, and they were just down the street from our house. We ordered the hot subs, and the kids had a couple of their pasta dishes, and we all enjoyed it. They were decent priced, so the next time we didn’t feel like cooking we tried them again. This time we ordered a small pizza for the kids, and a medium for us, and again we were very satisfied. The orders were always correct, and the people on the phone and in the store when we picked up our orders, were friendly and helpful. The place was clean, so that was a plus too. It was a nice change up from Dominoes, Pizza Hut, and Papa Murphy’s. The definitely earned a spot in our rotation when ever we feel like ordering pizza.

It was extremely delicious. Excellent service and the five dollar lunch special is the best value. Will probably go there again!

Great food and service!!! Wish we had one in St. Louis!!! Pizza was like what my grandma used to make.

Been there a couple of times for the calzone. It’s pretty good. Price is right, I think its cheap not really two $$, but thats just me. A good value. The restaurant is nothing fancy and pretty small but I’m not really going to appreciate the architecture.

Ordered a half deluxe half pepperoni and when it arrived it looked amazing until I tried to extract the the first piece the crust was like wet card board soggy and raw fortunately the driver came right back to take the worst pizza I’d ever received and give me my money back

Incredible! Absolutely my new FAVORITE pizza place! My boyfriend got the chicken bacon ranch pizza which, oh my god is to die for! (I’m def going to get that next time) I got the calzone, which also is amazing!!! The cheese is wonderful and the sauce is delicious! Everyone needs to eat here!!!

Although I’m not a huge fan of New York style, I must admit that Rocco’s is good quality pizza. Their sausage is some of the best I’ve had here in town. I’d prefer the topping coverage to be a little more substantial, but I’m not sure that super-​thin crust could handle it.
The pizza seems larger in pictures. However, due to the thinness of it, the pizza is much smaller in reality. I suppose this is the way it is meant to be – New York style. It’s so thin, you need to eat a lot more of it to be satisfied. I suppose that’s OK.
[Be prepared for their less-​than-​spacious parking though. I saw some cowboy hat-​wearing numbskull park his pickup truck to the left of a row of stalls, blocking part of the entry way. He gave a self-​approving nod as he exited his vehicle to inspect his parking job. Then, he proceeded to walk to the building to reward himself with a pizza. A real winner, that guy.]

The food was spectacular! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, especially the great service and cannolis.

This may be my favorite restaurant. The staff are great. The food is always wonderful. The prices are low and this is the cleanest restaurant in town.

the calzone here is fantastic! Staff is friendly, and the service is good. I’m not a fan of the pizza, but I seem to be in the minority on that. I’ll be back for more calzone.

I really like the chicken bacon ranch. One of my new favorite pizza places! They put tons of cheese in their pizza and its delicious.

Pretty close to getting 5 stars!
We picked up our 16inch Chicken Bacon Ranch. Which was $ 16 fair enough most places charge about a buck an inch. Was nice to hear another local place making it because we were driving literally 5 miles one way for a CBR.
The pie looked presentable, not massive amounts of toppings a hair on the skimpy side. The ranch sauce was delicious with a nice creamy garlic finish. The bacon sprinkle on sparingly, and in very small pieces. The bacon was also good; nice and crunchy.
Now for the minus, and lack of 5 stars. The chicken was canned, and void of all flavor except for the water it was packaged in. If you are going to used caned chicken you should pour whatever sauce you are using onto the top. Instead of just putting the bland chunks on top. The crust although nice, and thin had a doughy taste. It seemed to be a very basic crust with no real individuality. Almost like it was bought, and just used as is. I think if they even just put a little butter, or cinnamon in it that would be better than what it is now. I truly believe crust is 30% of the pizza taste, and originality.
So please consider at least working flavor, and a little more texture into the crust. Regardless I will be back!

I am a huge fan of Rocco’s since their days in Nixa. To see him open a shop here in Springfield is great. Their pizzas are amazing. Their lunch special is perfect for any weekday. The fact that they are close to my office is a huge plus. I also really enjoy their meatball subs.
The staff is always happy, and John (the owner) is as friendly as it gets. This truly feels like the old school pizzerias that I knew back on the east coast.

Fantastic food and service, It is the real deal. huge portions and very reasonable. Real homemade Italian food. A must try.

Very nice! Delivered hot and on time. Crust was fresh, excellent flavor. Would definitely order again. New spot for me when I travel through Springfield.

Solid pizza. Crust is thin. I’m digging the ranch they use instead of red sauce on some of the pies. Glad to have these guys on my side of town. I hope they’re here for a long time.

The crust on the pizza that we got was very thin. So thin that it wouldn’t even hold the toppings on. But all in all, it tastes good and that’s what counts. It’s definitely better than the big franchises but it isn’t the best I’ve ever had or even the best in town in my opinion. Definitely worth a try if you’re just looking for a different place to go though.

Rocco’s is a great addition to the neighborhood! The pizza & service were both great. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality. Looking forward to trying subs, calzones, etc.

The service was great, the prices were great and the Pizza was so dang good. They deliver and have a huge variety. Not an attempt at NY style pizza they nail it! I haven’t had the Calzones yet but the day isn’t over yet.
