Redeemed Music & Books

I’ve known Todd and his Dad Bill for over 10 years. My wife and I have also shopped regularly at their store over the years. When we used to homeschool it was an incredible resource for curriculum and materials. We’ve never been treated rudely. I was sad to read Frank G’s review as it doesn’t seem a minister should try to resolve his issues on Unilocal rather than first dealing with the ownership with his issues. I know exciting things are coming for Redeemed and I’m eager to see how things go.

I am a full-​time professional minister, and it saddens me that I can no longer recommended Redeemed to my parishioners. I’ve shopped at Redeemed for over 15 years. It went from amazing (5 star rating) – with friendly, knowledgeable staff and a joy to shop at, to now (1 star at best) having very rude staff who seem very uninterested in their product and see the customer as a bother. One lady literally yelled at me in front of my children when I asked a simple question, and the guys there are always angry at customers and never smile. With so many online options anymore (all of which are more fairly priced than Redeemed anymore), the only thing that could help them succeed is friendly, quality service (which costs nothing, yet for some reason they do not want to provide at all). Also, they used to constantly have new materials, but now they no longer accept trade regularly (too much trouble for the staff) so customers don’t shop there often anymore (it’s always the same old stuff). I used to love Redeemed so much, and it pains me that it has so fallen.

Sold books there several times. Gentleman usually working the register is always rude and acts like I am interrupting his game of Minesweeper. Used to be much friendlier staff so I’m not sure when the change happened.
They give the absolute minimum for books and have unreasonably high prices considering what they are selling. Don’t know of any better option in town. It’s pretty much a lose-​lose.
Try Amazon before this place. You would get closer to a fair price for your stuff.
