Greeter front desk wasn’t all that friendly but rooms are nice and be only one night so why not.

I didn’t even check in due to the greeter at this location. The greeters name is Darla and she greeted me with such a business approach that it kind of turned me off. I was patient and explained that I visited a Red Roof the night before and got a rewards card and asked if there would be any discounts offered for my stay with Red Roof. She plainly stated«Yeah 69 dollars plus tax». I then said Well last night at the last Red Hill Hotel I was offered a 57 dollar room with a king bed and a small desk. Darla answered like I was inconveniencing her and stated«HMM I don’t know what your talking about plus I’m in the middle of training this guy. I was like what??? Then I asked about a 15 percent discount offered from the last Red Roof I stayed at the night before. Darla just excused me with her business approach and I said Thank You anyway and exited. The reason why this post is so important is that the night before we stayed at a Red Roof for the first time in Troy Illinois as my wife and I are currently traveling the country. The greeter Stephanie was the welcome mat to this Hotel. Stephanie went above and beyond and made me want to sleep rest and have breakfast at every Red Roof across the county. Then Springfield Ohio and DARLA what a shame…

I’ve stayed in multiple red roof inns and this one is by far the best I’ve ever been to. The staff is very friendly. The whole building has new carpet and the lobby and hallways have been remodeled. My room was very clean which is all anyone can ask for. They provide pancakes, biscuits and gravy and your basic cereal, toast & muffins for breakfast. Everything for a great price!

Great for a Red Roof! I stay at Red Roofs when traveling with my dogs as they are very pet friendly. This one is one of the best I have stayed at., friendly front desk staff, clean and modern rooms. I would stay here again!

April Stayed April 19th2013. Used Priceline which probably affected the room I was given. They gave me a room in the SMOKING section. 2nd floor hallway smelled like cigarettes and cheap perfume. I tried to get a non-smoking room but(supposedly) all taken. ROOMREALLYSMELLED… Had to run the fan all night to try and freshen up the air. Oh, also the bathroom could have been cleaned alot better… stains on the wall by the toilet(that I won’t identify here). Also a stain on the bed cover(ditto)

I was In Town for work and stayed here a couple weeks. It was pretty nice. The lobby and rooms have recently been remodeled. The hallways and the elevator were a little shabby, but I was I pressed with how clean my room was and the décor. The staff was very nice. I actually ended up checking out earlier than I had planned and the staff was very helpful in facilitating my refund. The complimentary breakfast was decent. It included yogurt, hot/cold cereals, muffins… The lobby area was very welcoming with a lounge type set-up. I didnt visit the pool, but there was one available. No fitness center though. Another perk is that they allow pets to stay w/o add’l costs:-) I would recommend this place and stay here again.

Driving through when I got caught by a snow storm. Pulled in for the night. The lady at the front desk(owner?) was super friendly and provided us with a super discounted rate(triple A plus a coupon) that ended up being cheaper than the Super 8. Its a great stop for road trip lodgings — rooms were clean, beds were comfy, and people were friendly. Also — I left some diamond earrings in my room and was an hour away before I remembered. I called the hotel and within 10 minutes they had checked the room and made arrangements to send the earrings back to me.
