Yum! We were waiting for one of these to open up here in North Jersey! Sandwiches are fresh and delicious. The service is friendly too. I can’t wait to try one of everything on the menu. I just wish they were open a bit later in the evenings on the weekends. Other than that, all is fab.

I miss the old school sandwiches, the old mom & pop stores where you know every sandwich you order is divine goodness. I was getting depressed as the old school delis closed down and in it’s place there were Subway & Blimpies on every corner. I’ve heard of Primo Hoagies before, but never had the chance to try it out until recently. My first bite, I felt like I was back in the old neighborhood. The bread was delicious, it was the way sandwich bread should be, flavorful but not so overpowering where it takes away from the contents inside, which in my opinion is the whole show itself. I was there with a group, so I was lucky to sample different sandwiches. Primo hoagies takes longer to prepare than the regular sandwiches that we’re used to seeing at Subway, but believe me it’s worth the wait. Each one was better than the last! Chicken Diablo, Big T, Audie, Sicilian, Bada Bing, Whacked Chicken and Nonna’s Veggies. There’s something for everyone, the choices are endless. This is a spot where even the most pickiest people would find something to fall in love with. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back! The store itself is pretty big, there’s plenty of seating in the front and back. The bathroom was super clean, which is always a plus. I love how helpful the staff was, they were patient and made great suggestions on which sandwiches they think we’d like to try. We were actually helped by the owners themselves; a young husband and wife team who were super friendly and very welcoming. Until now, I had missed that old school charm where you’re not just buying a sandwich, you’re getting the full la famiglia experience. Thank you Primo Hoagies!

They have a variety of subs guaranteed for almost anyone to love. The meats are fresh and the seeded bread was amazing! Our hoagies were great but the total was pricey, averaging about $ 10 a sub. Still very tasty if you were looking for a great, filling lunch.

Staff is super friendly and courteous, sandwiches are ample and fresh, and price is reasonable. I come here most days for my lunch break to relax, eat, and watch tv. We’ve also used their catering for work and the team loved it. All around highly recommended.

I visited with a co-worker who had been there previously on many occasions. This was my first time but not my last. This place is located on a center Isle on Rt. 22 so it’s very convenient to go east or west. They have a very extensive hot and cold menu with many different kinds of bread. Their catering menu is very impressive as well. A large display rack of different kinds of chips. The sandwiches come in three sizes. Small, Primo, and Whole. I ordered the Primo Italian. Great choice. The quality of the sub is very impressive. Fresh bread, perfect size portion, and just the right amount of meat. Very tasty! My friend ordered ordered the Primo Turkey Diablo but they had run out of the bread that he had ordered it with. Instead he had it on a wrap, A very impressive looking wrap. It took them a while to work things out because of this but the manager stepped up and provided us with a couple of extra bags of chips and two giant size chocolate chip cookies. That was very generous of him and great customer service. They care about their customers. There is a decent amount of seating and the location was clean. I will be back and I know he will be as well.

Excellent. Bread was SOFRESH and perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Meats were cut thin and layered nicely. I really liked it. This was my first time here, but won’t be my last! Yum!

South Jersey’s in the building! I was over on Route 22 looking at cars a few weeks ago and almost fell over in my seat when I saw the Primo’s banner at this shop. The only Primo I was aware of previously(which I thought was a standalone business) is located down the shore in Wildwood. Consistently excellent and HUGE subs which I’ve devoured many times. I was thrilled to stumble upon this place, in my new neck of the woods. I’ve come to find out that they are also new to the area, but that Primo’s is a franchise with over 80 or 90 locations. Who knew? This one is the northernmost location in NJ, for all those folks keeping score. Regional trivia aside, Primo’s is legit. Sure, I tend to prefer mom & pop independent sandwich shops, but these guys bring the goods. Quality of the meats and produce are high, the bread is fantastic, the sandwiches are made with care and there are three sizes; half, whole and BOMBER. I think those roughly equate to 6″, 12″ and 24″. Size does matter, btw. You should peruse the menu to find your niche, but there are cold, hot, meat and meatless options to sate nearly any palate. Prices are reasonable. The icing on the cake at this location(unlike the one in Wildwood) is that the proprietors are so nice and friendly. I chatted with them a bit about the location and the history of the brand, and they were super appreciative for the business. They take pride in what they’re doing and it shows. The location is a little challenging, being nestled on an island in the middle of Route 22 in a pretty busy commercial area, but it’s worth the effort. If you’re nearby and you’ve never tried Primo’s, I would definitely encourage you to check them out!

My first impression of this place was not the best. I went with my friend and we got meatball parm subs. I didn’t enjoy the sandwich and the meatballs were cold. When I go back I will try a cold sub and hopefully it is much better.

Great sandwiches in an area that needed a good sandwich spot. The owner is always there and involved heavily in the daily operations. Of the 5 different sandwiches I’ve tried, they are all 5 stars but my favorite is the buffalo chicken cutlet.

I actually have never been to a Primos but thank goodness they opened one up right next to my work. I went in for lunch and ordered the Turkey Diablo. The food came out quick and the sandwich was stacked with meat!!! It was so good I took my wife there after work for dinner on the same day! Definitely a great premium sub shop you gotta check out.

I highly recommend this spot to those looking for a wholesome sandwich and a great experience. The staff and the ambiance were friendly and welcoming. I was here today for the second time. Now this is my favorite Italian fast food. My wife and my kid loves the tuna sandwich. It was very busy here today for their grand opening. Food quality: Very good, i had Beef Diablo for the second time and its exactly the same taste from the first one, consistency of food quality is very good. Cleanliness: Every one in the kitchen are using gloves while making foods. Clean bathroom and clean surrounding. I know this place is new but i hope it wont change the way they started. Staff: They are all very friendly and very polite. We also meet the owner, very nice couple and they actually assist us directly instead of waiting for another counter. I would recommend this place to everyone, they had so many selections from healthy to regular menu. I definitely coming back.

I finally saw the«Now Open» sign while driving home from work so I stopped in yesterday. I had heard allot about primo hoagies from friends and was excited to try it. Needless to say that they definitely lived up to my expectations and more!!! I had the Chicken Diablo on their seeded bread and picked up an Italian hoagie sandwich for my wife. The sandwiches were extremely large and a good portion of both sandwiches ended up sufficing as my lunch this afternoon… they had a ton of choices to choose from so it took a minute for me to decide on the diablo but it was delicious… looking forward to trying some of their other options soon! The price is extremely fair for the size of the sandwich and the amount of meat that was in the sandwiches. I recently had tried the Jimmy John’s sandwich and honestly was dissapointed in the amount of meat they had put in the sandwich. I can’t even compare subway to these sandwiches… they are not in the same category! The place was new and clean and the staff was patient and friendly with me as I did take a little time to figure out what I wanted :)

Went here today which was the grand opening and it was excellent! The staff were great, super friendly, and even though there was a bit of a wait they were really nice apologizing as it was grand opening day. I had the Abruzzi with roasted red peppers and it was GREAT! I can’t wait to go back and try some more of their subs(ahem hoagies, sorry bout that!). Prices aren’t too bad, I mean hey it’s not subway so I’m not expecting to pay 5 $ for a footlong. All in all ranks right up there with Jersey Mikes, I’d say better because of the selection and the seeded bread.
