It was cool. Walk in the door my man swoodled us $ 5 each, cool I respect the hustle. Hookah was tasty, but my mans was on the 808s the whole time killed the vibe. Was cool, would come back.

Read a review about the coal and almost didn’t want to come but after being here I can say that review was wrong. Coal is good.

Ordered the MEDITERRANEAN TOUR appetizer for $ 14 (hummus, babaghanoush, stuffed grape leaves, Arabic salad, muhammarah). Generously sized portions & best hummus & babaghanoush I’ve ever had! I ordered thru the Delivery Express app & was delivered fresh in a timely manner.

I was a little unsure about this place because of the location being on Worthington Street but I must say this hookah place is awesome. Both times I’ve gone it has been slow, I seem to hit it in the wrong nights but it hasn’t seemed to made a difference to me. I’ve frequented quite a few hookah bars and this one has to be the best. The music is always great and however they do the coals/​tobacco I’m not sure but it always ends up being the best flavors I’ve ever had — and they last. It is a bit pricey for Springfield but I think it has to be because it is Springfield. The customer service is awesome, they’re very attentive and on top of everything. Definitely an awesome spot.

Food was great service was great atmosphere is great. I was read to give a 5 star review until I broke out my Groupon that does not specify any dates on times to be used, and they did NOT accept it. If you are going to have Groupon please know it is not valid for the weekends. I WILL NOT be coming back here on the simple fact I was mislead by the owner of the establishment

Even better than before! Hookah service top notch, staff super friendly, and Chef Mohammed very accommodating. Even a simple chicken kebab was moist and flavorful. A great date or group night.

Been here a few times. Service is always prompt and informative. Coals are always hot and hookah flavors are numerous. Always great music, played at a good volume. 18+ and no alcohol served. Great for a pre-​night out.

First of all very bad service no one wants to attend u. We had waited and food was not I expected. And when we want a bill no one showed up for 20 mins the girl was attending us she was busy talking with other people and she had our bill in her hands for 20 mins. Will never go back there.

Attentive, prompt, and very friendly customer service! It was a Saturday night around 8:30pm and our first time in. The music and atmosphere wasn’t too loud. We ordered orange and vanilla in a pineapple, which was absolutely amazing! It was a lot smoother and the flavor was consistent. The staff checked on us regularly.
We spent around $ 45 for the hookah and a couple bottles of water. Overall it was a great experience. Keep in mind that they include a 15%, which is well deserved!

Absolutely fantastic customer service. Hookah was on point and the atmosphere was nice and cosy. Every one was very friendly and generous. I highly recommend this Hookah Bar. Will deff be back here when in MA, Naeim is the hero, make sure u meet him when u get there, he’s just an amazing person with great personality and also does the best hookah ever. Thanks Naeim.

A little pricey as I had to pay to park across the street in the lot since the street was full but other than that, it was good. I was a little hesitant on ordering the shwarma but I was not disappointed, it was delicious. The hookah was great, very flavorful and our waitress was very nice.

Glad I found this place, planning to come back again. Friendly staff and helpful but somewhat pushy to get the more expensive hookahs but it didn’t bother me that much. Enjoyed the flavors and the mood of the place. I went in there thinking it would be busy since i went on a Saturday night but it wasn’t, never got crowded which was nice for me and my friends first time in a hookah lounge. Totally worth the money.

I really don’t understand what everyone is complaining about. I’ve been here around five times and it’s always been great. On weeknights it’s a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere and on weekends the music is louder and the vibe is more energetic (more people).As someone who’s gone to hookah bars in NYC and Boston this place is wicked cheap and the service was above average. My coals were always hot, the waitress/​waiters always checked in, and they also have bubbles which they offer at no charge. They have a large selection of flavors and options. I’ve tried a handful and thought they were all very nice quality. It can get crowded on weekends but I’ve always been able to get a table.
What is everyone whining about? I feel lucky to have this place in my neighborhood!!!

This place is the best hookah bar i have ever been to! The service is great in there, the people are so friendly, they have the best music and they take a very good care of the customers! Their food is the best and their hookahs are so clean. I highly recommend this place to chill with your friends. I give it a 10 out of ten. All the people that work their are helpful and caring. They have the best boss ever he is chill and he is so helpful! I thank everyone in there!

I had a wonderful time at Petra, my first time there and doing Hookah in general. I went with a mix of friends, some who were experienced with hookah and some newbies like me.
First off, the waitress was nice and efficient. She was accessible but not intrusive. The flavors were delicious. What really surprised me was that the atmosphere was so comfortable. While I expected a grimy, shady atmosphere, Petra has an atmosphere that really makes it easy to have a great time with your friends, host a party or connect with strangers.
I think the management caught onto the problems that other Unilocalers pointed out and have improved the place since.

Great hookah, natural coals, owner and severs are very friendly! They take time to sit and talk with customers. Not many places in CT or MA have bubbles but Petra does! Comfortable atmosphere and reasonable price. Go for the real fruit hookahs, very smooth and you get good draws every time. Must try!

Finally, a hookah lounge in the Western Mass area. It is shocking for me to read all these bad reviews because my roommate and I frequent this establishment all the time, and we consistently have an excellent time.
They have a variety of flavors that are tiered at different prices. The basic flavors are the cheapest, and are just as delicious as the premium quality flavors. I don’t understand the issues other reviewers have with the price because Petra is BY FAR more affordable than most places in Boston, and comparable to some really popular spots in NYC.
They offer soap bubbles for free, and our server even gave us a tutorial on how to make them. In fact, the service is always very good. After our first few times at Petra, our server began recognizing us and now makes small talk every time we see her.
The coconut cube coals are of a superior quality, and much better than the normal store-​bought coals. As a hookah fanatic, I can tell you that the coal makes all the difference in the quality of smoke the hookah creates. These coals are great because they don’t degrade the flavor of the sheesha. They have employees who walk around every 10 – 15 minutes and switch out the coals so they are fresh.
The bowl is also packed to the max, and the hookah can last for more than two hours.
The hot tea and juices are really great, too, and if you opt for fruit in your bowl, it will really be the most delicious thing ever.
As a side note, I always judge an establishment by the cleanliness of the bathrooms. This place has the cleanest restroom, and maybe it’s just me, but I really like the dim lighting in the restroom.
The atmosphere and décor are pretty great, too. You can tell the owners put some thought into it. The booths are comfy and homey, and the walls have a cave-​like appearance. They always have these great events and bump awesome music, as well. One of my favorite nights of the summer was hands down, the night that they had a belly dancer. Totally entertaining.
I once had the opportunity to chat with the owner about my extended family in Kuwait, and he was super friendly, as well.
All in all, a great experience. Perhaps the other reviewers have not been to a hookah bar and, thus, do not know what to expect.

Not good. Sad because atmosphere is nice, waitress not so much. Asked multiple times for the coal guy to change coals, didn’t then asked the waitress still didn’t. Disappointed. She pretty much told us to pay more or leave and we tipped very well before hand. Never will go back nor recommend.

Waitress added a nearly 22% gratuity to my bill.
I complained about it to get a sympathetic manager who said he would remove it. I told him to keep it, they’ll need it if they continue doing business this way.
I’m glad I went alone on a lark, now I know not to bring my friends.
