Great spot for crafts, knick-​knacks, and all that other STUFF you never realized you «need!!» I’m not much of a «crafty» person, but discovered this place as I planned my wedding and decided I’d rather not spend zillions of $$$$$$ on «throw-​away» items at our wedding back in 2013. We had beautiful decorations, favors, and AWESOME silk flower decorations without breaking the bank, and I’ve been sort of/​semi «hooked» on this place (vs. the crazy «bible-​thumping craft store down the street who thinks they can dictate their employees’ morals…) ever since. I’m still not «crafty,» but I did take up knitting last year after a foot operation, so I come here every now and then for supplies or just to browse. I’d also love to take some of their «how to» classes, but my schedule doesn’t always work for that… Sign up for their emails and check out frequent sales/​events!

I recently met these guys at our local scrap booking expo and the were so sweet! Their prices were great and they helped me get a basket together to donate to our PTO school raffle this spring. Great packs of paper, embossing folders, glitter tape, even a stamp holder that fits in my ScrapRack! This store is a must visit even if you drive a little more down the road!

Michael’s Crafts stores meets Hobby Lobby. Big building. Spacious isles. All kinds of craft and hoodie stuff: painting, knitting, silk flowers, home décor/​knickknacks, board games, I could go on and on. Great for creative minds, or even ones who need some helpful suggestions.

I love the prices, selection, and special offers but every time I shop here, the cashiers seem to be inconvenienced and grumpy. I try to be cheerful with them, but it is no longer a positive shopping experience. Sorry, Pat Catan’s-Springfield, but I think you’ve lost my business.

Massive craft store on the west side. Never very busy. I shop here often. I tend to get lost. I find the layout a little confusing but I’m getting used to it. If you can’t find what you’re looking for it’s easy to find a team member to help. Very friendly crew.
I’ve come here for everything from drawing supplies, party stuff, gift wrap, foam core for a photo box, jewelry tools… the list goes on. I do a bit of visual merchandising these days and I find a lot of props and décor for those purposes. Sometimes I go in there with my apron on and other customers ask me questions, I help them out if I can.
I really can’t think of another place in Springfield that offers this much selection and value. Check here first. Four stars.

Nirvana for those who are super crafty… I shop here for seasonal items, candles and gift bags. Don’t pay $ 4 for a gift bag at Hallmark when you can buy a 12 pack of colored bags for around the same price here!
