Unique selection of some really nice wines, most available in both dry and semi sweet versions. Their Tornado Tomato and Blackberry wine were our favorite, along with a terrific group of fruity desert wines. We bought a caseload, and will definitely be back for more. The owner is an extremely knowledgable, interesting, and affable gentleman whose enthusiasm for his work is contagious. There is a pleasant outdoor seating area where you can relax with a glass of wine, and which is the site of occasional free outdoor concerts. At these you’re invited to bring a picnic or snacks to enjoy with one of their wines which are available for purchase on site by either the glass or bottle(bringing in alcohol from outside the winery is prohibited, which is certainly fair enough). Great place!

A wine for everyone! Stopped in on the way to Arkansas from KC. The gentleman that owns it with his wife helped us. They have more wines than normal to chose from and most you can get dry or sweet(or somewhere in between). The owner is crazy knowledgeable, you can tell this is his passion. He explained the wines well. I liked the Chambourcin and loved the Port. My husband liked the black raspberry and loved the cherry — said it tasted like a cherry straight from the tree. We would definitely recommend this place and plan to stop back in if in the area again.

This place truly would have gotten a better rating from me, had the lady that helped me out, just a tad. First of all, amazing place that has about 32948739487 kinds of wines. I had such a hard time deciding, and they were all pretty fantastic. Sells almost every kind in both semi-dry, and semi-sweet, which is nice. They charge a $ 5 tasting fee, if you want to taste over 5 kinds though. I of course, tried them all. I purchased $ 100 worth of wine, literally, $ 100(6 bottles), and she STILL didnt waive the $ 5 fee. Call me crazy but that just was enough to make me have to blink a few times. Next time, ill buy the standard 1 bottle and wine and call it quits I think. They need to come up with a purchase amount that will waive the $ 5 fee. Something so small, but so annoying. Especially since she ‘forgot’ it originally, then ran my card a second time, just for it.

Cute place outside of town(Springfield). One building tasting place and outside seating. Cute cherry trees around that they use in their own wine. Variety of fruit wines and the traditional Missouri Traminette, Chamburcon and Norton. I liked the apple the best, some weren’t just right for me. Good Raspberry dessert wine, it has nice legs. They had posters with summer concerts where you could picnic outside… That’d be a nice atmosphere to come back and experience. They sell«winery snacks» I believe they are newer(?) so they aren’t as established as some around MO. I’d recommend a visit!

OOVVDA(yes it stands for something) is a fun winery in Springfield. The owners are SUPER nice and no where else I no of can you get tomato wine(AMAZING for cooking). My favorite wine here is the Black Raspberry dessert wine. The mural on the side of the building is fantastic too!
