Great place to get a great pizza! The Supreme and Neighborhood Pie are both great. Good service and the café has a warm homey atmosphere. Reasonable prices too!

They make a good pizza, not a great pizza.
Nothing wrong with their pies, just I dont think there is anything exceptional about them.
They are often voted best pizza in Springfield on multiple websites and competitions. I just dont see why.

I absolutely love this place. I love their pizza and my favorite is the Neighborhood Chicken Bacon Salad with sweet French dressing. I drop by their almost weekly. I like the friendly service also.

The pizza is amazing, any of them! Their salads are great as well. It can be kind of on the high side as far as price goes but that doesn’t stop me/​us from coming!

This is the pizza place I have been looking for since moving to this amazing city of Springfield five years ago. My first visit, but far from my last! Ordered the club wrap and it was the best I’ve had. I love the small town feel. Reminds me of a little pizza place I frequented in New England. Can’t believe I finally found the authentic home style menu I have been craving for so long. I’m looking forward to my next visit to get a neighborhood pizza. It looks awesome! Definitely recommend and bring your appetite! :-)

I LOVE this place!!! The pizza is excellent, and the down home friendly staff are awesome. I would gladly drive across town to eat here. Their kitchen area is very open and clean. They make their salads fresh to order. You can watch them cut up everything while sitting there. I’m just happy that I live so close.

Delicious pizza served up quickly to my family and I. Love the gracious demeanor of the owner. I highly recommend Neighborhood Pizza for lunch or dinner.

Great pizza. Another Unilocal Find. I got the crispy crust, it’s great. Don’t skip the brownie. Prices are very fair.

Passing through and read the reviews so we stopped in. Great pizza! Had an individual pizza with amazing service. Everyone knew everyone else and were so nice!

Excellent pizza, amazing friendly staff… Their food is made with love. It’s a favorite lunch spot. You might wait a bit for a table, but all great restaurants have a wait! Fantastic place!

Always good. Chicken oriental salad and neighborhood pie (with red sauce) are our favorites.

After reading the other reviews I decide to give them a try.
I ordered a small pepperoni, black olive and onion pizza and a side salad. The salad was delivery promptly it was lettuce tomato and a generous amount of grated cheese (cheddar and mozzarella). All the ingredients were fresh.
The small pizza was on the small side but with the salad filled me up. The pizza had browned cheese on the outside edge and a crisp thin crust.
Give them a try.

Located in a plaza with ample parking. They accept credit cards. Could handle a group of 6 – 8 but not much more.

This is the best pizza in town as far as I’m concerned. To me, a pizza place is only as good as their supreme (Sorry, but measuring the quality of a pizza place by its cheese pizza is the wrong way to do it, hippie!), and this place has an awesome supreme. Let’s see… it’s crispy, it’s tasty, and they put extra sauce on it for free (when you ask for it, that is).
No bothering with wait staff and tips here. You can refill your own drinks – no waiting on people to do that for you.
You can also tell they care about getting it right.

I’ve been to Neighborhood Pizza Café a few times and while I don’t necessarily dislike it, it’s not top-​of-​mind when I think about where I could get a tasty slice of ‘za in SGF. I almost feel bad holding this viewpoint when Neighborhood has been the Pizza Bowl champ for a zillion years in a row now, but my opinions is what they is.
Apart from the location being about as far north as I’ve ever been while still in Springfield city limits, I always instantly feel like the aesthetic is welcoming, über-​friendly, and the type of place where you could easily be on a first-​name basis with the staff if you come around enough. Both times I’ve visited, the staff has been a cheery, humble bunch.
I came in last week with family and, I believe, mistakenly ordered a weaker menu item. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a strong proponent of the idea that every menu item should be a strong menu item if it’s going to be offered up at all, but the more I delved into my taco pizza, the more I felt like I’d made a huge mistake. It was LOADED with black olives (which I picked at to even the score), and the lettuce and tomato was just sitting on the top and subsequently slid right off every time I picked up a slice. It was a disappointing meal and I found myself wishing I’d tackled a pepperoni or something instead. That being said, taco pizzas are SO DANG GOOD when they’re done right.
I guess my point here is that Neighborhood definitely seems to live up to its namesake of being welcoming, friendly, and family-​oriented. Because of the aesthetic, I think I need to just come back and give something else a try to affirm that this little eatery is deserving of true ‘za approval.

I visited this restaurant off of the Unilocal reviews, and I was happy with the decision. I got a small pepperoni pizza, and it was fantastic. The service was just a little slow, but the pizza was well worth the wait.

I am definitely a fan of their Pizza! My wife and I have only been once, but we look forward to going back.
We shared a medium thin crust pizza, and it was the perfect amount of pizza. We finished it off, and left satisfied.
The crust is delicious, and so were the toppings.
Check out their multiple awards while you wait. They definitely earned them!
